Maybe, but you lose alot if you don't have it. You need to invest into more crit, maybe get onslaught ring etc. also the permanent giga ruby flask is insane for damage reduction because all damage we take is fire except for chaos

Im pretty late on the comment but yes you can use the belt that give like 400 life regen instead of mageblood and then you just put charge gain when you are hit on ruby and since you get hit non stop and it last like 10+ sec you will always have it mostly full and up there is also a gem that he doesnt use Nature affinity that when you dont move which is pretty much all the time you take 10% less damage taken and have 20% chance to double damage so with all the cluster you hit like 50% chance to double damage
