Would love a guide on how to actually run them, what rewards to choose, etc. Have not played Sanctum league so I tried out 2 sanctums this league, had no clue what was happening and lost both runs in the 3rd section and just skipped the mechanic for now :D

Buy relics with additional room is revealed (and maybe one or two with resolve on boss kill and inspiration at start if ure new) - run - dont get hit - if u want to maximize the returns always pick everything now till floor 3 then only divines and sextants and try to get duplication boon drom divina - again dont get hit - kill lycia - done Try to skip rooms with u can see one room fewer ahead/traps are faster/violatile on guard death

It is a hard mechanic and probably only worth once your character is pretty strong already. Basically it is mostly about avoiding rooms with afflictions and maximising your choices while navigating through the layers. So, that you always can select between as many rooms as possible otherwise you might be forced to pick a run endingly bad affliction. Picking the right afflictions is definitley key. In the rooms themselves you need to be very aware of enemies and their attacks because you want to get through every room with as little damage as possible. Meaning if you dont have to fight in a room you want to jsut find the exit and leave asap.

@@tommygunmitvierm724 yeah it's rough to get an idea about all of that when you didn't play the league. Don't know the mobs, the layouts of the rooms, donr know what bad afflictions are, don't know how important the coins are and what to buy :D

I loved Sanctum league and i love it now. First money strat that i can do for 4+ hours straight and not get bored af. Also not picking up every splinter on the way, complete the run and collect all the rewards...and its pure currency, not much trading needed! Love it!

I've been running sanctum since day 3 ish with hex blast mines, no additional reveal relics, selling all my unique relics, only just running the baseline sanctum and going for major boons from the sacrifice 50% for a major boon buttons, buying books at 25c/ea from a friend in bulk, and I have some thoughts to share for people interested in running this 1) I agree with Tuna in thinking it has been slightly ninja nerfed, particularly in the divine / exalt / annul rates (very slightly), and possibly the unique relic rates. HOWEVER, it is still insanely profitable if you don't fail runs, and even if you fail 50% of your runs like I did at the start of the league (dying to lycia because noob), you may still make profit 2) Boss damage relics are good if you are like me, playing a squishy build with tons of dmg. One shotting >>>> resolve 3) Hex blast has multiple strengths that come online as you scale damage, namely freezing & chilling guards at even floor 4, and doing most bosses in 20-40 mines, for Lycia I recommend using one batch of mines to keep her from above 50%, then waiting for wither to build up and sending the next batch when she casts the next big spell with a long cast to guarantee cast lock and to avoid the dodge phase 4) The Covenant + Sandstorm visage is an easy way to scale damage on hex blast to levels enough to make sanctum comfy 5) You will start running sanctums slow, maybe 40 mins per run, but once you learn the rooms & mobs and scale your damage further it'll go down to 15-25 mins 6) Learn to path around afflictions, never take afflictions that snowball into more afflictions, and never take black smoke (unless all seeing eye) As for build recommendations, the builds Tuna mentions are perfect, but any build with good single target & preferably high chills & freezes are ideal for this. Defenses are only a concern for Lycia, since most guards can't kill you at 3.5k+ hp with immortal call (only way is 40% inc monster damage + assassin backstab from my experience at 3.5k hp + 0 armor 0 eva 0 suppression), but a tanky build can make it feel less stressful My poe.ninja is ely_sanctumleague if anyone is interested to see my mediocre gear to prove you don't need a ridicilous investment to run these, havent failed a run in ages but not lvl 100 yet bc of meme bossing & baldurs gate 3... Do keep in mind, this league mechanic is definitely not for everyone, and you should NOT spam this if you don't have fun with it, easy way to ruin your experience (and divs/hr...) High investment mapping is competitive with this, but it can be a great way to fund some divines from time to time even if you don't have too much fun with it Edit: Additionally, running a 10-20c dump tab for your bad relics is a decent way to earn some additional chaos especially if you afk alot

Since before league start my internet has been extremely unreliable, there's a damaged node in my area that they're taking their time to repair. I've lost so many sanctums to random disconnects or ping spikes. I had 6 divines on the line a few minutes ago, got a lag spike in the middle of a beam trap room. GG.

A Tip for the Guys who die at the scourge Boss: use a topaz flask. The 20% reduced lightning dmg taken are very useful

Hey love the video, i been doing tons of Sanctums, and if it helps anyone, with Chains of Castigation, you can actually get All Seeing Eye Major boon and reveal the rooms so they are no longer hidden, i was lucky and got it on floor 2 when using that unique relic, cheers

Can confirm I ran my first 50 or so on a wardloop after switching from more traditional early currency strategies , while wardloop is eye aids it worked wonders and I got my first mirror reward from sanctum in the same run I got the all seeing eye boon, 6k hours and 9 years of poe and finally got a mirror thanks to sanctum!

Ever since they added 'Sanctum monsters take no damage if you’re somewhat tpo far from them', sanctum run is much harder to run but the return is definitely noticeable if you’re successful.

I find sanctum incredibly frustrating as Tornado Shot compared to Harvest at the current point in the league, and it seems a lot less profitable honestly for the amount of effort you exert compared to mapping. It might be just a nice/fun change of pace I guess.

I tried to run sanctum with a more or less budget TS (like 50 div or smth). It works perfectly fine up until Lycia, where i die to the red waves due to having 0 life regen. Any solution to that better than a 2nd life flask?

I really like lightning arrow and want to stay as that build. I’m pretty much end game gear lightning arrow similar to your POB. Should I just keep spamming Dunes Legion?? Or is LA viable in sanctum? Want to try a new farming strat. I have a ton of 5 ways set/incubators/etc from legion farming. Only get like maybe 3-5 raw divine drop per hour.

Okay fellas, listen up. this guy makes it look easy running sanctums but it is not. Is high end pve content and you need a very VERY strong build to make it happen. You require end game gear that is worth a lot and the grind is real. What he did in a few hours itll take you weeks. Not saying it is not possible what he says, it is, but it's not for the average joe out there

Yeah I tried sanctum and straight up failed on floor 2 because I forgot that last time I played sanctum I was immune to action speed changes on Jugg. I took a petrify affliction and got absolutely combo’d by some guards.

Watched this video 2 days ago, decided to invest in reveal relics and hour of divinity, lost money. Total of 2 divines were on the map in 15 sanctums, meanwhile hour is 190c + tomes are 1/6 div. And yes i took every accursed pact room in floor 4 since the normal treasure rooms were not showing divs

@@CrouchingTuna running 83 tomes, 16 reveals + hour of divinity, this morning I did another session where I had not a single divine on the reward rooms in 15 sanctums but there were 4 behind accursed pacts. On average on the last floor with pathing I miss less than 2 rooms.

Hey, I have some problem with your bulb lighting arrow, I even have good items and I did everything as in the guide, items are still coming but according to. my pob has barely 800k dmg when even you have over 1kk dps at the early item level how can i fix my character because i have no idea what to do next....

Sunctum is very profitable but is hard and needs a strong build, and after 30-35 minutes of pain you will make a mistake on floor 4 or at the end boss and die and loose everything. About the last boss, the build needs a lot of damage to one shot it so a lot of investment.

Could you do an update on the build you used to run this with? I have a pretty expensive TS build with HH and im just fine the entire sanctum, but depending on boons I sometimes don't deal enough to kill Lycia before she Phases and the red waves sometimes oneshot. Did you somehow either build for more ST or make your char tankier to survive one tick of the wave? Which dmg does it deal, is it chaos? Some tips on Lycia would be appreciated, lost 10 runs to her now, 3 of them with 5+ divs...

@@Greed2117 Hi - I found out most of her stuff is lightning and physical. I ditched my Omni Setup and got life on every single piece, also most life nodes and life on my Large cluster. Am now at 4k life and haven't failed any of the past 50 sanctums. Also ditch totems, they clutter your screen.

I do not survive the trap rooms. I am too bad on my mapper. probably have to take all movement speed out. This is tornado shot mageblood fully buffed :) After watching your video I tried it again and failed at the last boss. never been good at moving away from these beams. I guess its time to take out quicksilver and take more of a defensive flask.

But I have not enough damage pooning her down before she does those waves and then again, I am much too bad at gameplay to dodge those. So I die, loosing all of those divines. thats simply frustrating. More single target issnt possible, so what is that damage type? Lightning would be bad, as I couldnt get more def against that

@oxygene9082 You want a lot or cold damage so you can just freeze the sanctum enemies. Then they can't attack you and make you lose damage. Or something like freeze on Hexblast Mines.

kinda feel like +2 rooms is a bait, im running +2 merch options and very often first vendor gives me +1 room ahead and about 50% runs have sanctum fully reveald once i reach 3rd or 4th floor where it matters, not to mention the ability to stack almost all boons possible

Lol, usually I would agree with most of those "1000 DIV PER MINUTE FARMING STRATEGY VERY EASY" being just dickhead clickbaiters but sanctum is actually pretty easy and profitable even on a mid character. But you have to have a specific build for it, your RF starter ain't gonna cut it. For trap rooms just slot in a phantasmal searing bond totem and cheese them
