[PoE 3.23] A Hundred Hinekora's Locks vs One Ventor's Gamble

This is my big gamba of the league. Over 5 mirrors worth of Hinekora's Locks in pursuit of a quantity corruption on my Ventor's Gamble. This is a weighting of 200 out of 29,950 (and that's just for successful vaal corrupts). Not the greatest odds, but I'm a streamer so it's cool.

There's a whole bunch of pieces of tech that all rely on each other to give the build advantages over the standard build. Including just one or two will make a typical TS build quite a bit worse. For example, getting phys conversion trinity to work is a pain, and it makes the wheel that gives the cold conversion mastery worse, so you need to get conversion on a watcher's eye instead or your build is worse. Trinity makes the inverted resistances node less impactful, so the large thread of hope is better. But now you need supreme ostentation since your strength is gone, but with that you can replace a bunch of Int with something else and replace purity of elements with skitterbots, which makes secrets of suffering better, which allows warlord's mark to work. Missing or not noticing any of the differences will lead to major problems with the build.

@@GhostPepper233 From what I've seen the important factors are wisps, you want 8k+ and preferably a relatively even spread of all 3 and then the mobs, you need to kill rare mobs with a lucky combination of archnemesis modifiers. The best way to get juiced rare mobs into your maps seems to be with legion and with abyss, for the abyss method you need to spawn a spire and make sure you don't destroy the spire as it spews out rare mobe, additional monster projectiles map mod will increase the number of mobs per ejection. If you don't get enough wisps and add the mobs with legion or abyss then you're just doing regular mid juice magic find. Check for a video on the abyss spires if you're not sure about that. Even after all of that it's still just a matter of RNG.

I was thinking about legacy 20% quant rings. Thing is, none of them have resists like that. Not remotely close. A lot of them have rarity with crit rolls and ele damage. But this have more res than you can squeeze inside a legacy quant rare. Especially with this much rarity. Of course, plenty of rings now have 30% quant using the new heist base. It also get 39% rarity from one suffix. Can easily get two res there at 81% value each. 162 total res, 30% quant, 39% rarity suffixes. Less res than your ring, but not by much and... 30% quant. This sort of a ring was not yet crafted, people always start with big damage mods like crit multi. But with the heist bases, the amount of quant have gone a little crazy, 30% quant per ring, 40% on the amulet. Can get 154% crit multi on top, not bad or 40% aura effect.

I have now played afliction for 250 hours. All the items I have got is crap. I have less than 10, which seems to be over 100c, but none of them have sold. It's very difficult to see the value of +4% quantity. I have a ventor with +6% quantity. It's other stats are junk, but I have tested it without seeing any benefit over statistical noise.

Not good items are worthless. 100c ventor is just worthless basically. The more perfect in desired stats item is value of it become geometrically bigger. Most of the value at MF this league comes from conversion loot (divines and winged scarabs), and raw mirrors. Both of those aren't impacted by rarity on gear.
