Thanks a lot for these guides. Now the only thing left that i'd love to see at some point of the league, is a min maxed guide for this league specifically. With the newest PoB update the dps on the 3.23 PoB drops from 2 billion to 1.3 billion and that's still with the charms that don't exist anymore. If we remove them, then we're not suppress capped anymore. Would be cool if at some point you could provide something that would be worth working towards for the more try hard players that wanna push this build to its limits

Grace watchers eye, magebane, annointment, get inveterate on the tree. Some options are better than others given your current situation. Also you dont need 2 billion damage! who told you that?! unless you're that one monster who delves? With this build in particular? Some big items to work towards would be double elevated awakened blizzard crown, hatred effect +2phys gem scepters, mageblood etc. But that's the thing, people play this build because it doesn't require much to get online and going, but at the same time can scale really high with late-game items. I don't think he ever mentioned a Slavedriver variant that doesn't require any mana costs either, so thats an option as well. You can even go saboteur with eldritch battery if mana becomes in issue! If you play the game you can come up with your own style of build that you can call your own. Seems like some PoE content creators (not Fearlessdumb0 hes awesome) has been really notorious for taking advantage of less experienced players who don't know better and just trust what people tell them. In reality, behind the scenes, they will lie to you saying "lab farming is profitable!" when the truth is that they just want more people doing labs early on so their favorite transfigured gem and grand spectrums are more plentiful on the market at a lower rate. Another funny one is the "This build is cracked!" Then everyone tries it and realizes it is snake oil after purchasing uniques and crafted rares that should have been cheap but has skyrocketed in price and now you're paying a premium! It was a weird tangent, but I hope that answers your question and gives you the inspiration to try something new or explore different options/variants that may not be a traditional archetype, or maybe you can get creative on an existing archetype and add some of your own flavors based on the resources given to you early on.

@@cykablyat6348 yeah some Valdo maps make you do 90% less damage which is still 100-200 million damage which is nuts lol. They are adding iirc 500 new Valdo maps? So it will be interesting to see how profitable they will be with the extremely reduced drop rates and larger sample size. I like the high risk high reward void maps, adds nice flavor but really they are risky because of the defense layers not necessarily the damage element

@@adamzeller7979 there were valdo maps even penance brand mana stacker with 30 billion dps had problems with, but for void maps this build is pretty bad, u need a really niche build if u actually want to run those

Great video! i played trapper one time last league and kinda liked it. I made ET mid build in PoB last day, has about 170k map ehp but around 5mil dps at very moderate config. Looks good, cant wait to jump in!

I'm sorry if I missed this, but how does the build do in Delve? I want to do a little bit of most content and maybe try to beat some bosses this league, never been a big legion fan anyway so this build seems pretty much perfect for me. I really appreciate the effort you have put into making a nicely organized guide with lots of notes to help out newer players like myself.

It's not a deep delver as the PoB is configured, but it should have zero problems at modest depths like 300-400. You'd want to sort out a few delve specific things that are annoying like Hinder too. Conner has some good delve content though it's mostly focused around mana stacking if you want some specific guidance. I did a video on depth 300 delve with the league start version of this build several leagues ago you can find somewhere on my channel if you want to see what it looks like in trash gear

On atlas, expedition is best off NOT going single bomb. Too many modifiers that nullify your dps output. Reduction or nullification of fire, phys, cold, etc can all stack up to a point you're doing almost no damage at all and they're chewing through all your defensive layers. At least it did for me in yellow maps

We don't benefit from the recovery from polymath because our traps are doing the killing right? Might just be wrong, but when I was testing yesterday I was not seeing the recovery I should have if we do get the recovery, but if we don't then that node is just mainly for the more damage multiplier?

You will get recovery from it until you switch over to explosive trap / brittle. After that, it’s just a lot of extra damage. If you’d prefer tank instead of 18% more dmg you can go Heartstopper

Love that you showed what it looks like without brittle. That was definitely my experience in SSF. It was still playable but it would be a million times better with a source. I'm gonna start melee for the memes this league and wait until I get leadership price or the sceptre or the cluster jewel. Then I'll roll a trickster for boss kills and getting my 3rd and fourth void stone. I had a great time with this build despite my RNG last league 😉. Thanks for the guide again

Unclear, but Aer0 did some testing and I heard 10% to get the craft, so 5% if unweighted. Second hand info is the best I have. Higher chance if you also reroll random greens.

There's a lot of variance: the basic craft to swap a green gem for a random green transfigured gem has a ~1.5% (1/66) chance of hitting Explosive Trap of Shrapnel. Merciless+ Labs have a chance to offer the craft to change a specific base gem into a transfigured version of that gem, which has a 50% chance of hitting Explosive Trap of Shrapnel. Uber labs give two uses of the font per run. All in all, don't count on self-finding the gem in a reasonable timeframe unless you really commit to farming Merciless or Uber Labs for it--it could take dozens of runs.

Yes, I think invitation farming will be lucrative. It's what I plan on doing ASAP, as soon as I have 2-3 div to toss into my character I'll start doing invitation rotas

Thank you for the build guide, going to be trying it out for the first time tomorrow! I'm curious why there are 8 gems "socketed" in the body armour in the POB, I know only 6 are active but I was curious why they are in the socket set. I saw POB giving me the warning and wanted to make sure I wasn't configuring it wrong. Thanks! edit: I'm seeing the part of your guide where you mention not using swift assembly if you wear sunblast, so I see the extra gems are just to quickly swap out which ones are active depending on the current belt (if I have it right)

It's only needed for a 6L, and if you are out of campaign in 3hours and no one has farmed betrayal yet you can temporarily go EB or run a 5L until you land Elreon. The ring craft isn't that bad to self-farm in SSF.

Sabo's defense in endgame suffers a lot compared to Trickster. I want a MB to help with that and provide another large chunk of flat regen from the 3% catarina mod, as well as reduce some of the suffix pressure for chaos/ele res.

You can still use it but you’ll want to make investments in cast speed or it will at best feel a little bit better. At that point 4-sockets is a lot. Certainly give it a go though and see how you like it, I’m trying to set a mostly reasonable baseline for everyone to follow.

Yes I would only go self-chill with a MB and I'll still reduce the mana costs to make EB/ES regen manageable on Sabo. Without some amount of cost reduction it's a bit too much for the ES pool you'll have without some flat ES regen.

Excellent. Low budget requirements, much lower damage ceiling though with DoT cap, consistent dps uptime. Very good for cheap Uber bossing on low budget if you are looking to rush that. PF can be made tanky with some investment too.

Also I'm a 10yr vet of PoE but still like to look up guides by people I don't know and I have to say your videos are very well done. Concise, informative and easy to follow without 100 layers of nuance and tons of expensive uniques that many new players might not be able to grasp. In the Mid Game (early bossing) there is a Lethal Pride socketed in the Passive Tree but "Strength of Blood" is not allocated. Is there something I'm missing or is this an oversight?

You don’t want Strength of Blood. The lethal pride is for Str, things like double damage and phys as extra fire

Why not start sabo? Isn't it just objectively better in every regard? Wouldn't all the extra AoE + shrapnel version give you tons of extra clear and speed for progression? Same with legion clearing capabilities?

Nothing wrong with Sabo, but a reasonably well geared Trickster is tankier and has more damage. For league starting it’s comfier because you get ignite/shock immunity and regen but it will be slower (lacks One Step Ahead) and less damage (Polymath) and need suppress on gear. I would not say Sabo is objectively better, though it’s also good choice as I discussed in the build guide.

most likely yes, specially in Delve since trickster can scale pretty well tank-wise. You can push a comfortable depth with enough investment on this build

Hey! Thanks for the guide. Explosive Trap is good for decently mapping? I like trap playstyle but like to farm Expedition, Delirium and boss sometimes, i'm not a full boss farmer, should i do this build?

Shrapnel is decently good for mapping. Normal gem is ok for mapping. Expedition is what I usually farm before going bossing.
