Nice vid! Quick question, if I'm only using firestorm as my main DPS skill, should I still care about fire dot or dot?

If you are using it for the burst damage, then you don't need to be worried about ignite chance or any damage over time mods. You would just want fire/burning/area damage, spell damage and crit chance and crit multi if you are going crit based. Alternatively, you can go for sustained damage with ignite....then you would follow the dot path.

@ to be honest, I’m not sure. I haven’t really played any fire build that wasn’t based on ignite. I’ll have to try that out sometime.

@@OldManGaming-101 got it. last one! when fighting a boss and theres no adds, how does the DD work if no corpses around? wouldnt DD be silenced in that situation if im not understanding the skill correctly? thank you sir!

@@TricksterMK Yes, you are correct. There are a couple of work-a-rounds. You can socket vaal breach, or you can equip a hateful accuser ring. For my build i just need to stack a couple of ignites and the boss will go down. This is definitely NOT a bosser build. It is fantastic for simulacrum and ultimatum though. EDIT: I have multiple spells on stun....DD is my main clear spell though.
