Hello everyone! Hope you guys enjoy the video. The first flask I'm using is a life flask with "remove burning & Ignite" you can just alt craft this or use bestiary to add it. This is to turn off your RF if you get hit by a beam or if you need to disable it during the fight for bonus regen.

Usually on my first Maven kill where I'm z-dps, I also replace the faster attack support of my shield charge by a Culling strike support (can be a lvl 1 gem, doesn't matter) to get the fight a little bit faster as the faster attacks is kinda worthless here and you can cull every maven's phase + last nucleus phase, pretty cool

The thing I was missing, outside of my lack of skills for the memory game, was the life flask to turn off RF. Died so many times to these lasers. Also, I always gets Piety and Innocence as bosses myself and I can face tank everything without any issues at all :)

Thanks for the great guide, Pohx. Maven down for the first time ever, in only two writs (first time I was very sloppy with ball placement in the first two rounds which bit me in the arse...). I can add that I was using your updated Svalinn build, and was wondering if it can even be used for Maven. Svalinn can, but I don't recommend going with Penance Mark alone. For Maven, you need to be careful with mobility, (especially in the last phase) and throwing a trap beats wondering where those little spectres will show up... So yeah, Svalinn + fire trap managed to do it. Again, thanks for a great build and equally great guides!

Remember kids: After Right ALWAYS comes Top. Every single time. This makes it much much easier to do the memory game since you can basically skip a step in your head since its guaranteed. This also lets you troubleshoot sometimes if you missed a part. Lets say the 6th spot was left but you missed the 5th part for whatever reason. The same spot cannot appear back to back so it cannot be left. If right was the 5th spot the 6th HAD to have been top because after right always comes top. So you know the 5th spot had to have been top no matter what if the 6th was left.

This video makes me realize I should start my SSF leagues with a tanky character. She took me two tries with slams because the cascade would chunk me hard, and trying to dodge it while setting up the degen pools, or during final laser phase was such a pain.

Small tip: if you get balls as she is transitioning into brain phase, you can put the balls on the outside portions and they won't be a problem ever again This is more important on uber maven, where the balls don't disappear between phases

What helped me with memory game is thinking about it in terms of clockwise/counter-clockwise from the previous step instead of “top, middle, bottom”. That gives just two options at each stage instead of 3 (it’ll never flash the same place twice in a row). That and just practicing it. Practice can feel a little expensive in ssf / early trade league but it’s the only way to get it. Other possibility is to run a speech to text program on a second monitor and just say the steps out loud and read them back immediately… Good luck

I prefer the jungroan calls which is 1, 2 and 3, which is left to right, Or you can do Pohx's calls which is Left, Up and Right. So for example if the final set of the memory game is: Left, Right, Up, Right, Left, Up. Then I type the first 3 calls in chat, then remember the last 3. This is why I run the numbers strat instead as its faster to type, however 'l, r and u' are also good to shorten it down. Alternativly from in game chat, Simple Sticky Notes is a thing that when setup right, it will stay on screen even after alt-tabbing.

Never thought that the final boss will be hard because of... Memory game. On 3rd try I did it. It is quite easy with this build. Pitty it cannot do the memory game by itself. That would be a true dump-resistant build!

If you f up in the memory game, The death mechanic will accelerate. If you continue after that and complete the memory game successully, then u don't die to it.

RF damage ceiling is not that high compared to other high DPS builds. If you want more DPS, try other builds. There's only so much damage you get with RF even with all mirror tier gear.

rf caps around 1 million dps if you throw 2 clusters at it and have basically perfect rolled gear,2 million i think if everything is perfect. now,you are tanky af,specially with the block switch now. if you want to blast bosses,rf really doesn't do that. i would look into a different chieftain build and just respec into that. plenty of other chieftains that do good dps, 4million+, with fairly low investment,and you dont' have to level a new character.

Nice guide but it does not work for me. When beam started (after 8:00 min) I turn off RF, trying to be close but it looks like I have no life regen , maven shoot few times and I die quickly, I back, trying to move to maven but shoots, ground obstacles and after few second life goes down and die, I have 99 character (6K live, big damage), gear for 100 divines, I have tried 20 times it, it is impossible. Why this mechanics is so stupid than even engame character cannot do it.

His first couple days were very slow short streams for him due to spam from chat, so day 3-5 gear is about right as per Pohx's expected progression.
