Thanks for sharing the build... 2 questions that may sound strange, but my English is not that good ... Language barrier :-) 1. why - 177% lightning resistance ? 2. what order would you suggest to skill the Ascendancy ?

1. The body armour Doryani's prototype makes nearby Enemies have Lightning Resistance equal to yours so if you have -177% lightning resistance, nearby enemies also have -177% lightning resistance which is massive boost to damage. However, to survive the incoming lightning damage, you’ll need to shift 100% of it to other damage types. This is done by using the Divine Flesh keystone, a Watcher’s Eye, and the Sublime Vision jewel (or Taste of hate flask) 2. Plague bringer - Corpse pact - Essence Glutton - Mistress of Sacrifice

You’ll need Shaper of Storms from Forbidden Flesh and Forbidden Flame jewels. Make sure to reach max block, then focus on adding more mana, as it boosts both offense and defense for this build.

@@stefansantner5915 Most of your block chance comes from Bone Offering and the passive tree. Set Bone Offering on your trigger wand and increase its effect (see the wand and boots in my PoB). Finally, The shield Svalinn will help cap your block chance.

Hello and thanks for this video. I used a cheaper version of your build and I can say the damage is great, nothing survive in T16. But I think I miss something important, because I often get killed (if anything touch me in a rare T16, I'm dead..). From your experience, what's the most important for this build to be the most tanky possible ? glhf :)

This build relies on multiple defensive layers to survive, but the most important one is block. Make sure to max out your spell and attack block as soon as possible.

just realized I forgot one thing-did you shift all of your lightning damage taken to other damage types? This build can have up to -200% lightning resistance, so if you haven’t converted your lightning damage taken to other types, you’ll get instantly killed by any lightning damage

When I finally discovered I could turn off the map mobs after a few hundred hours, it was too late, I had already gotten used to it :v

@@GreatTeacher-Windy I'm just teasing here :p But I personally find it very distracting, and it covers lots of screen real estate. I generally read my map mods before running the map so I don't like nor need it up there. But hey, it's your game to play how you want to in the end. Once you click the arrow it will stay that way.

No worries, for this build, the only useful implicit modifier on that helmet is the increased effect of shock

​@@GreatTeacher-Windy oops, thank you! also, how did you get a kitava's thirst with corrupted implicit shock AND the links for the setup? is it okay to skip the shock, or should i change the skill setup? also, what does pantheon look like, and what are some good annoints?

For this build, Just buy a Kitava's thirst with increased shock effect implicit. The +level implicit on the helmet gives nothing for this build. For the Pantheon, it depends on the content you’re running, but for general mapping, go with Soul of Brine King and Soul of Shakari. As for anointments, Natural Remedies and Careful Conservationist are solid choices.

What do you mean by the "correct slot"? If you're referring to socket color, you can use either a Tainted Chromatic Orb or the crafting bench to change the socket colors
