20:05 Using veiled chaos orb is definitely wrong here. Not only can veiled chaos fill up all suffixes, but it can also add a random prefix on your item. Both outcomes can break your item and lead to an annul situation. Prefixes cannot be changed doesn’t mean a NEW PREFIX cannot be added. The chances of these outcomes are not low. You should never take the risk especially when you have already made a high investment on previous step. Aisling would be the correct and safe option.

starting with prefixes is the wrong craft, that method only works for original sin wands cause ele flat is so much more. correct method this synth base is essence of loathing for t1 AS + crit multi (harvest reforge if you hit one or the other) then lock suff reforge chaos and ailsing until you have flat and pen and crafted spell damage. and always enchant attack speed this wand is more damage and much cheaper to craft than prefix version. about 15d craft (edit: nvm i had brain fog, usually craft this with a factured suffix obviously more than 15d, still cheaper and better than prefix version)

thats what happens when your not prepared to craft. i was not expecting hin to hit the implicit. That was the best that i could come up with in 10 mins. And i was right, Spell damage essence and finishing with Crith + str was more damage in pob then finishing with spell damage craft by 4%(also cheeper). Preffix cannot be changed + veil chaos was risky but cheeper then aisling. Luckly for me he did hit the veil prefix .

@@m01t4123 oh i see. the prefix wand wins out for empys pob cause for some reason he has very little increased damage, so the dr isnt enough yet for the suffix craft the be better. any high end str stacker with ~3000% increased damage will gain more from the suffix craft edit: ah i found out why got baited by the wrong craft. when you add iron will manually cause its on his relic he has normal increased damage and the suffix wand wins out as it should

If you're going to start with spell damage, seems you could annul down to ONLY spell damage (Yellow 1-mod item) and then do "Can have 3 crafted mods > Prefixes cannot be changed > Cannot roll caster" This guarantees losing a suffix and gaining the Flat chaos that you want. Since annuls are so cheap, and it's 17.5k lifeforce per 'try' it's worth it to just spend the 5 div for the meta mods to make it fully deterministic.

@@spyral71 Getting back to the correct state to do the aug is nothing--by your own admission because "annuls are so cheap." It's like a 3.5 div aug and a 1div meta-mod vs. the 3.5div aug and 5 div in meta mods. I think it is definitely worth it to try the 66% chance to save yourself 4 div.

@@BilllyMays I guess it’s all how you look at it. It’s a 66% chance to save yourself about 2 div assuming you hit it on the second try. However. If you whiff twice. You’re now immediately down any more tries. Not to mention the time it takes. I am all about efficiency in this case as well. I’d rather do it once and be done and not have to go through retracting it all multiple times. I can definitely understand both ways. But I am all for 100% deterministic if it isn’t exponentially more expensive.

Damage agains abyssal monsters is crazy to me, like where did that come from? There’s no damage agains breach monsters, beyond monsters or anything like that as far as I know. Seems kinda troll :D

That originally comes from abyss league where they added abyss jewels and they for some reason have % damage to abyss monsters

@@robzan6663 the struggle to finish the league and add more "diferent" mods to the sinthesis mod pool , chris willson said the league prototype was ready embarrassingly late and most stuff was done last minute with lowest time spent on them possible , but after a few years it would be cool if they updated the mod list
