I think the Forbidden Tome droprate is fine. The +2 room reveal relics are 9 div each, you running with 7 for the most part and later even 9 drives the "cost of entry" already up to 63 or 81 div. I know you dont need the relics to start running sanctum. I myself ran like 50 sanctums casually without them but i wasnt even close to the 4 div per sanctum Empy got. So its (obviously) safe to say you get more divs out of your sanctum runs with 90% of the map revealed.

@@Synky I didnt map much this league (750k kills) and only dropped like 5 tomes myself. Maybe thats incredible unlucky, maybe its the average i dont know. So from my experience the droprate is pretty bad. Is it intended to be a alternative to mapping like Heist or Delve ? If so tomes should be readily available. Maybe they can decrease the dropchance but give us atlas passives for it in exchange. With enough investment it sure pays off, but so does (almost, looking at you ritual) everything else before GGG destroys it.

​@@1992Hatzui dunno i pulled a mirror shard and a +1max frenzy evasion base shield out of ritual week one of tota league! shit printed for me maybe 200 maps run with it just on my atlas deffering all until i use the keystone to mass buy. i ran a delve ritual league start went to about 600 delve on a DD occultist it did pretty decent.

No. How do you propose I account for them? I bought them, used them, and i’m reselling them when i’m done. They were not part of the mirror buy, I still have them. If you want to ‘account’ for no reveal relic runs you have to run an entirely different project.

I self-challenge myself for infinite sanctums before mirror and TS is not the best option unfortunately. Something like Storm Brand, Shockwave Totem or Discharge run much faster and confident. But for casual sanctums TS for like 400 divs feels fine.

I'm quite surprised of how many people were oblivious to how profitable Sanctum has been.

Basically did the same as Empy this league since I'd missed out on playing actual Sanctum league (was playing Lost Ark at the time), did a full stash tab 144+ books, results were similar. I did it with a Hiero Shockwave Totem build, no Mageblood to begin with, as soon as I hit ~300-something divines, bought the MB and things went way faster from there to complete the remaining books. Great way to generate currency especially if you want to play mostly solo, not stopping to trade very often, can just do big giant play sessions and then liquidate the sextants and chaos orbs whenever you feel like it (usually once I was at like 2000 sextants I'd liquidate selling them in 10 div per 380 or thereabouts)

you and I are honestly about the same. I'd say over the 100 books I've ran, I'd say I've gotten MINIMUM 300 Divines, granted I've invested some of it into splitting a MB with a friend, some into my build, some into gamba with sextant rolling, so the results are definitely skewed.

@@ricardofonseca2165 it takes, minimum, 5-10x as long to run an entire sanctum as it does a map. Wide range of "x" because of varying juice levels on maps. I've ran 115-125 this league to get a MB + T-Shot character up and running. It takes awhile lmao

Im running +12 merchant choices relics and i had 10 div once without Gilded Chalice (2 from a boss in third floor duplicated by a mirror of fortune and 1 from fourth floor AND i bought a Sacred Mirror at the end, so (2x2+1)x2=10)

You get about 2% XP per Sanctum at lvl 99. I got my first lvl 100 character ever with that, and farmed enough for a mageblood doing it.

I hope it doesn't get nerfed, not even the availability of books. You only failed a few, but you have a very good build. For the average Andy, it's gonna be more like 5-6 divs per hour, which would be about in line with a good low-investment strat. If you got a nice build and can play well, most strategies are gonna be pretty profitable.

Got my first mirror drop in sanctum. Like a wtf one in a million random drop. But without the mirror, definitely I've farmed 500d doing sanctums. Plus i liked the idea of decision making which can make or break your run.

problem aint the Divs per hour or entry-cost. The problem is the influx of raw divines into the economy. You only need to add other rewards with high value. Stacked decks, fracturing shards etc. just to keep the amount of raw divines in the economy lower

Only balance current Sanctum requires would be reduced drop rates of Tomes. As it stands now, they feel like they drop too often, but aren't worth selling due to lowly prices. If they were more scarce, prices would be higher, but still affordable, as it means mostly dedicated builds would run them then, still making large profit, but those that don't also get more value out of each drop and it feels better to drop them than it does now.

I was running these with a specialised and min maxed character at around 12-13 mins per full run without try harding much, best time was 11 mins, so obviously the money/hr is insane if you can focus and blast sanctum WITH a specialised character.

I have a friend which is running sanctums for a whole league and he says that double relics quite useless until u got the mirror reward. Because they cost around 1 div each and makes ur run tougher. And u sometimes even loose currency because u don't take any rewards except divines and only 2 div reward giving u profit

@@Empyriangaming I don't know of a single strat that really meets the 12 div per hour once you factor in trade time. Most of the ones claim 10 = 4 by the time you take time to trade everything away. This is not a dig on you at all or any streamer, but having an audience to buy up stuff really decreases your time to actualization on sales. Not for all of them but for enough of it to skew the hourly metric once you factor in trading off stuff that you can't do in bulk in TFT. More importantly, as you said in the video, the cost of entry for return is way too low. Compared to say juiced-up maps where you are multiple div in to see that kind of return. Thus keeping currency circulating in the market, whereas Sanctum just prints most of it.

@@ArnoldsKtm yes but you are not likely to get all the cool final drops as you can see in all sanctum videos, based on which are all the screams about sanctum being OP nerf it comments are based on. People think you just put first tome you find in league and you are printing 6 divs every run like nothing. I found +2 reveal relic every 25-30 runs so you can get there eventually on your own but you can do other things to outperform blind sanctums and earn enough to buy those and make your life much easier. I love sanctums and how little trading I have to do, but it's not something magical you can get going right away, with just 10c tome

how do people hate heist but not hate sanctum? it feels so similar to me. in both the minions rarely drop anything worth it, your loot is rng'ed in a list (end room/floor rewards vs blue print reward), some waiting is required (waiting on a door feels like waiting on a room of guards to die), you run the same thing over and over, and there's traps too i guess. they both seem straight forward but there's a good bit of learning to dial it in to being good reliable currency. also heist is way more money. easily double what empyrian made in this video with the same time investment. i feel the market speaks to that as well. good blueprints are super costly and a sanctum book is 10c

Problem with heist are the waits, in sactum you just go plus you also can choose boons and afflictions in heist it is put in contract and go.

@aroace7913 there is tons of waiting/ moving slow in sanctum. Also there are rogues + gear in heist which i feel is way more interactive than the same old boons and afflictions. You can roll the gear of your heisty boys and target what you want. Most of the boon /afflictions are the same thing anyway.
