If you wanna go extra cheap, skip the 6c map device harbies. If your character is extra bad, add shrines / Niko for character power. Short term decent money, long term BIG payoff possibility. There is multiple downsides to do the lottery atm. From my mediocre sample size (tested on 1000 harbingers with single shard type and then 10000 shard drops without lottery scarab, showing all shards of course), rarity of shards increased very slightly, but the time it would take you to see a single fracture proc is increased from avg 5 maps to ~70. Even worse that without lottery scarab you would just run another 3 harbingers, which makes average outcome per map even better, and then there is a bug or inefficient order of operations about harbinger nodes: 100% chance to drop an additional stack of currency from the tree nodes a) does not apply to big harbingers at all, and b) does not get converted into a single currency type via scarab. That means when you fishing for dophamine, not only you see nothing on your screen and sometimes you see shit ton of clicking for ancient/annulment at once (which is also less healthy that picking up 0-5 shards per harby imo), but there is also a way to fuck up your payoff: you have 25% chance that fracturing shards would roll on a small harbinger (because 75% of your harbingers are big) and thats already like 2 orbs instead of 5+, but then it could also roll on that extra shard stack (which actually happened in my tests), absolutely destroying your motivation to keep going after seeing two fracturing shard stacks (they do double by other scarab still) in 70 maps (or more if you got unlucky on that as well). I did get a proper big harbinger drop too, but it didn't feel as good as it would if I just ran them normally and get consistent drops. Also assumed values per map were in favor of doing non-lottery as well, but it might be low enough data size. However if it is not noticeable at 1k harbingers and you still go down in terms of outcomes (compared to regular setup), then maybe its not worth doing, at least for me:) As a side note, chance to get a full orb seems to be around 6%, transmutes mixed the data up to 7% but i suspect they just dropped 20 stacks from big harbies sometimes.

ive been doing a bunch of harpies this league. and i reckon ive dropped fracturing shards once around 100-150 maps. and with thoose scarabs thats usually around 4-8 fracturing orbs depending on luck. its def good and will be a decent sleeper strat for next league.

I ran harbs without discernment for about 80 maps and ended up with 6.5 fracturing orbs. I think banking on the jackpots from discernment probably results in less currency overall unless you get super lucky and get a mirror explosion.

A good tip for running harbiinger is to roll for action speed for monsters it makes harbingers spawn faster. I have around 300 maps done with this strat and i got 1 fracture explosion :( but i still love it :D

One nice thing is that you can run those maps white, if your build is not that strong, as it does not affect the loot from Harbies. Additionally, you don't need to be super-speedy, as you have to wait for the Harbies to spit out their bois. It is a massive gamble, as fracturing orbs are stupid rare and not worth that much. Plus, even with the Fracturing orbs, you are not making that much profit (just talking about the harbie drops), you are really mostly just waiting it out for 50/100/500, maybe thousands of maps until you get that mirror drop from them. Also, the Fracturing drops with this setup are usually at 4-7 orbs per big Harbie, not just 3, so the Fracturing orb drops are worth some 16-28D when they happen.

Been running this strat from start of league, it's super jackpot based BUT; is much better than most would think. I had in the span of ten maps once 3 fracturing shards drop nearly back to back, the lowest amount i ever got was from a non enhanced harby at 2.5 fracturing orbs and the most i ever got was 11 fracturing orbs from a enhanced boss one. This is a ton of divs when it happens and can happen more often than you think. It's also an amazing way to fill up on annuls as you will have 100's in no time at no cost. EDIT: Run this on defiled cathedral for extra jackpot chance on the apothecary, have had 2 drop so far.

Can confirm. I dropped a full mirror and 6 shards in 4 days of farming (224 maps). It might take longer to hit the mirror shard conversion BUT, if you do it long enough, it will happen, it's just a numbers game

Just to throw another anecdote into the ocean: I don't at all think it's unreasonable to count the two "big" drops into the calc - I would say that's quite accurate on drops to what I have experienced with running Harbies. For a few leagues, my start strat has consisted around Harby and Essence + a bit of strongbox (very easy to grab these together w/ position on tree), which fits in the new scarab stuff very well too. It propels you into mid-end game very smoothly & has done so consistently for multiple leagues.

i think you should count only number of scarabs, it would be consitient on all strats, like expedition 50 maps - 250 scarabs harbinger 50 maps - 200 scarabs would clearly tell with one better

I recommend farming harbinger in conjunction with farming beasts, as neither reward is based on map quantity. The shards dropped by harbinger and craicic chimeral or yellow beasts are independent of the quant of maps. Similarly, i recommend atoll maps, which are narrower and easier to navigate than strand maps. You only need to move to the right. Farming stratgy is just alch and go, kill harbinger, chimeral, and yellow beasts if necessary, then move on. Scarab only needs to be related to harbinger. The option for rarer beasts is in the atlas passive, not the scarab. The advantage of this farming is that you have a base profit from beasts and a lucky profit from harbinger, and you spin the map very quickly.

Beasts farming relies on speeding through maps as quick as possible to maximise the chances of spawning in frogs, which also ties in to double herd scarabs for 10 more red beasts per map and doubling scarabs to double the ones you do get. Harbies make maps far too slow to make reliable consistent cash from adding in beast farming (without running beast scarabs as well would make it close to pointless). I think you'd be better off adding some other strat that doesnt require you to speed through maps and that could benefit from the mob density that harbies bring, like beyond or idk.

This guy plays a completely different game than me... I am just the unluckiest person that plays this game. I run full 54% connected map atlas, full juice 8 mod maps with cart scarabs and I get an average of 1-2 map drop an entire map. Leveled 2 characters to 96, I have had a grand total of TWO raw divine drops. I feel like GGG checked the 'unlucky' box on my account management.

I did a literally alch and go strat, just to test it out, got 7 divines per hour with an MF char, so maybe 5-6 without. The strat was about farming scarabs exclusively. Given how cheap some scarabs are and how easy is to set them up (just buy in bulk 4), it's def not worth it. The new alch and go is using cheap scarabs imo, and if one is repeated even better. Scarabs are so powerful now.

It's not "way better", you have 30% less harbies, but instead you get 100% more currency. Specially when fishing for mirror shards, you won't get it twice, so you better to have them duplicated.

You should definitely take Exarch/Eater not a Beyond. With good map (Dunes, Jungle Valley) you will get like 20% extra total money. Also got extremely lucky to drop 11x Fracture Orbs in 2 days of trying this strat, but in 8-mod Shaper Guardian maps. This is strange but got crazy harbinger drops from these maps.

I got 200 divs worth of items/currency in a strongbox map with the "accompanied by a harbinger" on a high density mob. Strongboxes all spawned a harbinger, had a hinekoras lock drop, duped 2 valdos one turned into a non void foil mageblood and 4 total divines in the one map. If there is any way to get that mod other than spamming maps until you get it, it'd probably be the best strat in the game

Excluding random drops doesnt make sense, unless there was a methodological error in how they were achieved. We cant exclude data just because theyre inconvenient. If anything, people just need to realize how sample sizes work, and that not every sample can be recreated 1 to 1.

It took me about 140 maps before I got a fracture explosion, got 3.5 fracturing orbs so was like a 10 div explosion because fracturing orbs are only 3-3.5 divs right now. Next league when fracturing orbs are more valuable harbi strat is gonna be pretty good currency

I ran harbinger exarch jungle valleys week 2 and i think using discernment scarabs isnt worth. Fracturing orbs arent expensive enough to offset the opportunity cost of losing 3 harbingers each map so until u find the mirror its just a wasted slot honestly, especially since you actually drop fracturing shards rly frequently from the big harbingers, for example in these 50 maps you would have gotten like 3 fracturing orbs if you didnt use it

Damn, and I think you got unlucky too. I ran about 60 maps of the same Harbinger and scarab setup, the difference is I run Exarch and Harvest to make more consistent return in the case I get nothing. I got 2 fracturing shard pops (3 and 5 full orbs total, netting me around 15-20d) and 2 Einhar Harvest Beast. The returns from my atlas strat paid for half my Mageblood, the other half paid by getting Divine conversion necro map and popping Anarchy Allflame on it (netted me 33d total)

@@MrNanosTube Basically just all harvest, harbinger, exarch, and scarab wheels. Omit the scarab 100% more likely nodes in the middle, and take Harvest rotation keystone and take reduce chance for yellow juice. Use scarab the way Empy does it (all 4 harbinger scarab, 1 of each type) and use harbinger map craft. Run maps that give easy access to the boss (crimson temple, park, dunes. I use crimson temple), kill the boss, clear the map, then access harvest and make sure tha last crop or 2 that you choose is yellow crop. Harvest will at least give back the 6c that you pay for map+harbinger (500+ yellow juice, up to 3k if you're lucky), and the rest that comes from the map will be your profit.

Limiting factor is scarab for only 1 type of shard drops, i remember i was in 1 map, and i got fracturing shard drop 2 times, and it was regular map, no harbinger points on atlas, it was from league mechanic. Then i made tree for harbingers because i thought fracture shards drop often, and it will even more with points on passive. I got trolled and not a single fracture shard in 5 maps. Yes its not huge sample but still, drop rate should be better.

@@himi6536 ive done Ritual most of the league and in 5 maps i always return investment, more than return, not to mention many fractured jewels and other items sold for 7 div or more, even bows with tier 1 good mod, often i got raw divines, 5 divine Brother card, stack of 5 divines etc. Omen of ameliation for 75% exp prevention is offered so often that itself pays for at least 3-4 maps -50c

I think chat was really hating on this more than it should have. Because doesn't ever comment section of all your videos say, "Lul dur, you counted XYZ as money but I hate trading, who wants to sit in hideout, and use the trade sites, and try to post in discord for bulk sales, that should be removed from your total because no 'normal' gamer is going to spend the time to sell 9000 essences." If that is the argument then harbinger, which requires no rolling of maps, and no complex pricing plugins, and no bulk selling on discord, is even more profitable because this is something that someone who only plays an hour or two a night could do? Maybe I'm wrong and misunderstand how much trading or not trading affects these things, but it just seems like everyone was kinda hating on this when in reality it is ultra brain dead, and would be pretty effective regardless of how much you want to engage with trade.

I think you have made a mistake. I don't think there is a point on using the Duplication and the Discernment scarabs togheter. Sure you increase your jackpot, but you would get a better chance at something good if you got 3 more harbingers per map than the duplication one. Discernment makes your duplication scarab 99% useless because you're most of the time duplicating garbage until you get your pay off that is most likely not mirror shards. I myself dislike discernment because there is no guarantee the shard that will be chosen is the rarest one. Tbh I like to just run 3 rusted and the Regency Scarab and pair it with delirium to make use of the massive amount of mobs.

i did literally and exactly 1,000 harbi/deli/beyond maps in 200%+ qty 8mod maps. (yes i know, you fucking wiki nerds, qty doesnt effect the actual harbingers shard drop. i ran qty for beyond/deli drops) fracs we're almost exactly 1/100 maps. exalts were1/15 maps. counting everything in 4-5min maps i averaged 9.8div/hr. 5min maps, 1,000 maps completed. shit took me 80 hours, but i made 1.6 mirrors. if you can run these maps, consistently faster than 4min, for more than 100 maps... thats pretty wild. i had a migraine the entire week i ran this because of the flashing blue light, gl.

that just shows that as long as you are mapping you will generate a decent amount of profit, which is really good. also harbingers have a lot of rare mobs and they will drop good items. last league i dropped a t1 fractured dot multi amulet from harbinger which sold for a decent amount.

No alch and go is dead, scarabs are pretty low hanging fruit though theres many combinations that are very cheap and easy to buy in bulk you spend like 5 minutes buying your scarabs then you do your strategy for a week straight, trying to do just plain alch and go in this new scarab world is just bad unfortunately.

You could always try out Unwavering vision + Thorough Exploration + invasive adversaries + torment + beyond + shrines or Ritual + Destructive play, for hard content but potentially very profitable.

I would say the harbi isn't worth considering probably half the drops came from just the maps, the shards from harbis on average drop as such low tiers its not worth running

Nice strat bro, i just added Beyond to the Harbi strat but the keystone that do not let spawn bosses is really bad, you just want to kill the Harvis and go next so let the beyond demos to spawn their bosses to actually profti from them i got 10 tainted fusing in less then 30 maps killing Beyond bosses
