Maybe having twice as big map reveal and highlighted rares in that area could be a solution to backtracking

Atlas points for Ritual, Delirium and Expedition needs overhaul. It's impossible to engage with those and unlock points, un SSF especially. In trade - paying 6d to enter - no way its a good design. How in the hell are people supposed to do that?

another thing is leveling needs to be faster im literally 4% away from lvl 97 and it will be my last lvl its just a slough and xp loss on death is horribad.

Hell no it should be so hard to get to lvl 100. I love games where lvl 100 isn't just a time played award but a symbol that you made a build that can sustain all the games challenges enough to hit lvl 100. I think it's fine that some ppl should never hit lvl 100 and not every charecter you make should hit lvl 100 it should feel special when you finnaly hit it because you weren't guaranteed to hit it just from grinding

@ i did all hardest content there is in the game no problem there is nothing to sustain it’s just a grindy time sink it took me a whole week to get 96-97 would have been 100 by now im poe1 you clearly do not have a high lvl character where it takes a week to feel any kind of progression.

I would rather see them change the way tablets work with towers. Instead of making them stack make the input slot for the 5 slots and let us put 4 tablets and 1 waystone into it. Each tablet can multiply the mods on the stone to make it harder and worth the large buffs that it would provide and each tower should have a boss at the end.

if you play something overpowered then you have to expect a nerf. yeah, crafting is rly not good.... i would even say its beyond bullshit. i wanna grab 2k orbs and do a good item. collecting 2k bases just isnt good game design :/ single portal have to stay. i would say we need 1 weak version to learn the boss fight but 1 try have to stay for real. the tier 10-15 one portal is fine for maps. im fine with having more portals iin early but at the endgame a bit difficulty have to stay. for es: 18k isnt that much. its just a buffer. you need to layer defenses. if you go es you need armor/evasion/block. es is at the end just hp and its on bases (so it costs you armor/evasion and MANY skillpoints). its not much stronger then hp even if the number is higher. hp gets on kill, leech, higher bases (cause u dont play hybrid bases so u can play full armor/evasion). es is in a good spot. if they nerf es they have to take leech and on kill away from life.

Atlas progression needs to improve. Gating atlas points for mechanics behind pinnacles which are one attempt is just stupid. The economic risk to a player is too great and common sense would dictate that the price is based around the top items from that mechanic. Needs to change.

I'm personally a fan of a scaling system. Like 4 portals for tier1 3 portals for tier 2 and so on so fourth. That way you can actually get involved with the strategy early but maybe it takes some time to get all your points.

@@Snugs_TTV Scaling system doesn't address the main issue of economic gating. Everything will always be priced around the chase uniques in T4.

Instead of nerfing, they should focus more on buffing the “bad” classes. GGG said they were excited to see the broken builds players came up with when the game released. The players came up with the OP stormweaver build and now they’re going to nerf it?? 😂 seems a bit counterintuitive to me

@@HardStuckinGold I think one thing that is apparent right now is that there are mixed feelings on how ggg actually wants us to play the game. We don’t know what they really want the game to look like yet. I think the next real balance patch may tell us a lot about that.

Temporalis should probably go. In a game this slow, any class that can't efficiently use it will inevitably be a full tier below those who can. Every single class in D2 needs Enigma to be endgame viable, it limits build design too much.

i disagree some builds will always excell in some things others not. In poe 1 you had builds for each league mechanic. For example you will not run a temporalis in Simulacrums but for mapping its good.

so u want all classes to be equally shit and slow, just so you can say "build design is limited X% less" ? genius bro. and no not every single build in d2 was running enigma. a lot did. but surely not all.

If 50% of the people are playing one build.... as 10years of consistent behavior from GGG... it will be nerfed. New players better learn that in Early Access. I know that some will keep whining every league start, but that's a big part of the "vision", isn't it? I like one portal for regular maps. For the pinnacles, the best solution would be almost free fragments for the easiest version without any significant drops.
