Number 1 rule of crafting is don’t waste your money crafting, unless you play ssf & you have too. Especially if you don’t know what you’re doing & the system doesn’t allow for deterministic outcomes.

I completely agree. I've spent so many regals, exalts, chaos, essences just trying for decent gear. Maybe 2 pieces have been useful. Jump on the trade site and spent an exalt per piece and my character is 100x stronger.

Once you unlock atlas passives, search it for Essence, there's a whole wheel that improves drop chances from imprisoned monsters.

Yoo Man. They even blocked Weighted Sum in search for whole day or something yesterday. 'Your query is too complex'. Not sure if its unblocked now. Probably performance reasons.

I used it for the whole day yesterday, but you sometimes get that if you have more than three stat groups or if you have a lot of mods in them.

To me it seems absolutely crazy that they don’t want to encourage more crafting. Because of the rarity of even being able to ATTEMPT to craft something, once you get an exalt or regal you save them. It’s completely stupid imo. The game should incentivize and encourage players to experiment with rolls, rather than never really do it at all. I have 15 thousand orb of augmentations, yet every item I pick up is rare. So, basically useless. Very frustrating and unnecessary frugality of the ability to craft.

Weighed sum can be used for searching several mods that works for your build you can put different weights in. So mods that give you the biggest boost that you want more, you would put as a higher value. Mods that still are useful you can mark as a lower value. Then you can have the trade site list the total sum from highest to lowest or like he did and only list of it has a total sum of equal to or greater than a set value. Hope this helps

Good video for the wrong lesson. Take away here is that if you need some quick fixes for resistances just go pick a cheap ring (or anything else) from the trade site. You can find gear with some lower life rolls cheap too. I mean the double dip consept on crafting is good and trans+aug is valid for fishing for the two perfect affixes but people should just start by buying cheap upgrades. Exalt slamming is mostly a waste unless you actually know you have a good basea and people usually don't.
