At 3:49 I show the atlas which highlights the two very important notables chosen for this strategy. There's a third one that creates more delirium mirror shards (also mentioned later in the video), but I haven't been using it. Slight oversight on my part, but the main reason I hadn't taken it is because while the shards produce more splinters, they also slow you down with forced knockbacks, etc. It's a slight tradeoff for more speed vs more splinters. You may favor the other option.

one tip: if you dont have any points in delirium tree, its quite hard to farm splinters. but if you anoint with the cheapest oil (extra magic monsters), you get extra value for basically free. if you have a map with extra rare monsters you can easily drop 5-10 splinters a map without any extras. right now i dropped 10 with the waystone oil (cost about 4 for 3) on a map with no relevant modifiers, no magic find on my character and no juice on the node. its not super exciting but it will help you to get a simulacrum to get your first points or make like 3-6 extra ex per map.

i failed simulacrum on my lighting warp stormweaver yesterday, that stuff is no joke lol. I bought that stone and lost 2.4 div xD. i now sell my splinters. I am quant and rarity juicing up a bunch of breach nodes the last couple days. like 20 q and 40 q from from tablets that get boosted by atlas tree and max line instilled 15 waystones. most way stones have rarity and some have quant. i have 105% magic find. easy 10 splinters a map and like 15 if that spooky boss spawns too. pulling like 20-30 ex min of matts from these maps. got a couple divs yesterday too. worth instilling as it pays out 1.5 to 2x the cost on my maps in splinters alone and i think magic monster have better drops and xp. shame the ground looks yukky all the time lol.

@ Yes, im using herald of ice. Delirium monsters are incredibly hard to freeze and impossible to explode/shatter, I had to use lightning rod to clear them which was unbearable.

Currently it's one of the easiest ways to farm large amounts of currency without investing or setting up much. In my opinion there is a huge downside to it though. Deli shader makes most environments look like trash and that can get old really fast. I also find performance takes a hit in those maps

While the content of this video seems accurate, a massive disclaimer needs to exist in this video, and that is that getting the delerium points on the tree by killing the delerium boss right now is insanely difficuly, possibly the hardest thing in the game right now, requiring maybe at least a 100div character playing the strongest meta builds. I can beat tier 4 breach boss with some effort but nothing too bad, and I could not even go beyond 7/15 rounds of the delerium encounter.

I've been doing something similar to this, I usually just take all my maps that hit mods I don't want like gold/chests and slam 3 distilled ire on them to get some value. I usually only get like 5-10 splinters this way, but the extra magic monsters makes for better exp at least. Also Ire are like 3.5 per exalt or something so it's always extra profit. Your method is better though and I will be doing this going forward, thanks for the great insight!

I think you should allocate that atlas passive which spawns 50% more fractured mirrors. The mobs on them seen to have a high chance to also drop 2 splinters.

Highlighting one of the most fundamental design failures of PoE 2. In order to participate in a league mechanic, you must first have to have already bought your way into it or spent weeks farming the currency in order to hopefully one shot the boss. Failing to do so starts you back at square one.

Additional crisis fragments drop around every 300% waystone chance. It's not guaranteed, but I've had relatively consistent 3 from 900%+ And had 4 drop from 1200%+ 4/7 times. In order to hit 900%+ you need a waystone with 600% chance and 10 modifers (corrupted) with Grueling Journey and unstable energies altas points. To go beyond 900%, you need to anoint a waystone with at least 350% before anointment to add the 60% increase waystone drop chance, then corrupt and hope it 2.5x with at least 10 modifers on the waystone to allow the altas passives to boost it the rest of the way. Usually 730% is the bare minimum. You can also inc. waystone drop chance via precursors around a citadel. Highest ive gotten waystone drop chance to is 1781% and dropped 4 crisis fragments. 8divs from copper 😊

the reason you're seeing sometimes high delirious maps without anything on it, is because one of the emotions gives you no bonus other than 50% delirious per. So you can have potentially 150% delirious on your map

You can use emotions to get some deli for SOME splinters. I think the cheapest emotion is like 1 ex for 5 which I think gives you like 27% Deli in your maps. If you add quant, it's a bit. I ran a 27% deli map with a decent bit of quant and pulled out like 7 splinters, which is way better than nothing.

I've ran 20+ T15\T16 maps like this, but sadly, my Simulacrum drops per map (Juiced maps) is 4-5 MAX, I sometimes even have maps where I dont get any, or I get 1. I tried and failed the Simulacrum on Wave 15 when mobs pushed me into the two bosses and they stunned me (I couldnt move, or cast or anything) and now Im back to square 1, trying to get Simulacrum but its going to take days until I get 300, and I play a lot... ( I have 60 Rarity though, as I dont want to bother going full rarity).

I've been doing this for a few days. You can actually combine it with Ritual - the deli monsters are also resurrected at the ritual too, so I think that should give more tribute too. And I'm trying to level up so I've actually been running my maps white - it doesn't seem to have too much effect on either Ritual or Simulacrum splinters, but the maps are quite a bit easier - it sucks dying at 94 and I prefer slightly less loot until I level. I don't want to alch an 100+ deli map and have it be really bad and not tempting to run. I also run T11-T15. Strictly speaking about simulacrum splinters, I don't think the level of the map matters - my loot filter show all T11+ deli maps that drop, I'm pretty much self sustaining them.

you're probably getting stunned and can't attack right? Either get some jewels with stun, or do what I do when you get stunned - hit flicker. Idk if it's a bug or what, but it also works with siphon strike when you can't attack with charged staff.

So I've been taking a completely different approach, which is to use my buddy's temporalis to zoom through low tier maps as fast as possible (able to complete them in 1- 4 minutes depending on the layout) to try to rush citadel. Any idea if the drop rate for splinters can be worth anointing these low tier maps to try and get a little more out of them?

i take blank 15 way stone, alchemy orb / 2x exalt / 3x distilled ire on map(rightclick ire) / vall orb(can go 16). if blue already i use blue orb / regal / 3 exalt / rest same. I normally do a bunch at once and pray for Quantity of items+Rarity of items. I have a seperate tab for anything that rolls burning ground. aint no way im touching dat shi lol. the really nice instilled waystones i store in the dellerium tab. and most the time i dont have the balls the vall xD

Have you tried getting the double corruption map node, it can make your 'bad' rolled maps have 1500% map quant, which would synergize nicely with the delirium map notable. Use your maps that krangle to all suffixes and have really high map quant to run the blank travel maps.

We will do new leagues but none of your characters will be wiped, they will just go to a league called Early Access (so they will never be in Standard). In some cases characters in old leagues might be somewhat broken by balance changes though. After launch the "Early Access" characters will still exist. 😅

As a minion infernalist i struggle in the Simulacrum (+1 diff) because I lose a lot of damage on the account of there not being any corpses, when my minions inherrently die I get swarmed and stomped to death on wave 12. Any ideas? Is this content simply put not possible for my build?

I just did the first difficulty on my frost mage infernalist and it's tough. I'm pretty sure it's overturned ATM because in the later waves you the enemies get modifiers like 70% extra life and 55% elemental resistance which butchers alot of minion damage. I think this activity needs a tweak on GGGs end because the first difficulty for me felt harder than the fourth difficulty on any other league mechanic.

Well, the pack size Distilled Emotion is very cheap. Can use 0-2 of those per map. Yeah alch + 2 ex average per map probably. And it might become a great magic find map instead, still. I generally vaal those maps too.

I heard Ice Strike struggles on it. I think cold and Herald of Ice-based builds are pretty weak against Simulacrum because those monsters can't be shattered.

if you read the descriptions of each round, you'll probably see stun build up show up more in delirium. snoo has jewels in his maxroll to counter that in the passive tree. when you get stunned you can move but not attack. if that happens, you can also just hit flicker strike. for some reason flicker isn't affected by stun, but charged staff is - and I don't have a single jewel with stun on it. flicker and siphon strike can also break you free from heart tethers in the chaos trial.

Simulacrums are not bossing encounters. They're swarming survival encounters. You must have a certain baseline amount of defenses to do these. I've heard minion builds that sleep-walk through the game get trashed in Simulacrum. My build, for example can handle these better than any bossing encounter. At least when I was way less geared and did them for the first time. Just because you delete content doesn't mean it can't delete you.

personally when im traveling around the atlas i just instill my maps with ire, its cheap and puts splinters on every map i do. ire's trade at 3:1 constantly so for 1 exalt i get 3 ires, as long as i get 1 splinter from the map i basically break even, more is "profit" i wish you could somehow turn off the fog effect though, tired of running my maps in black an white lol

I'm using delirium to both spawn delirium mobs and increase the pack size with guilts for ritual. Without it ritual is super inconsistent.

I play from first day and have like 150x (half of a key) now I know what to do, in breach spot I still have a lot of empty maps but with 80-100% quantity, I will run some delirium maps now! Thx. I play monk and now I know why they die hard....no shatter oke good to know.

Farming currency in current state of game is pointless. If you must play poe 2 due whatever reason right now as a new player, play just campaign and reroll to learn how to level efficiently. Mapping , currency chasing, and sticking with stat stacking will get you heart broken in just few months or even days. Realm will be restarted cause they fucked up so majorly that they accidentally made poe1 on steroids.

I’m not sure I like this endgame cadence. I can’t seem to find myself blasting like POE1. I’m not a fan of doing empty maps to get to towers to setup a bunch of maps. It seems like a chore setting up to run 10 maps.

I don't think the first couple of Simulacrums are really hard to complete. You face Kosis and Omniphobia multiple times, but they're pretty representative as they would be in the area. Simulacrums are very hard for certain classes that are glass-cannon and corpse-dependent (because deli mobs have no corpses), but they're quite easy for builds that have a little tankiness to them, like Invoker.

I don’t think the target audience of farming videos is people who aren’t even done exploring the game… Edit: and even for people who can’t get the rerequsite atlas passives for delirium, it’s still useful to know that this is something they can do later and that this is something other people are doing now since it gives them an idea of why simulacrums are not more expensive than they are

My least favorite part of the game. At this point in poe1 I’d just be doing jungle valley or maps I want to do. I feel like all I’m doing is terrible maps I do not want to do just to get to towers. Pretty stupid concept in my opinion. This is great though thanks!
