I have my 2018 Mercedes C300 4Matic Sedan for almost 3 years which means it is due for its 3rd year 60000km service A2. We will cover the cost of the service and what was done during this service in this video.

I have a C Class and I get filter and synthetic oil change @ AAA for about $120. There is no reason to go to the dealer for things like oil changes, brake pads, change of brake fluid, change of transmission fluid. All of these things can be done at Goodyear or AAA for a fraction of the $$ from a Dealer.

This is ridiculous, almost classifies as theft. I buy oil filters for my 2012 Ford Fusion for about $5 and change the oil myself which costs about $20 for the oil. These Mercedes dealerships are literally ripping people off.

@@theoneonly5368 They're still overcharging for that service, trust me. You could do most of that work yourself in about 30 minutes and save the $1000. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJnLf6Fqbqaiodk

Right! $5 for some windshield fluid!? 🤣🤣 Toyota puts it in for free for me everytime.

Wait, did you just compare a DIY oil change on a 2012 Ford to a dealer service on a 2019 Mercedes-Benz? Good one.

@@Jetfuture737 Yes I am Kevin! See my above link for the "extras" you get with the dealer. Its a massive ripoff in my opinion but to each his own.

Pretty much yes but I couldn’t make a video like this if I were to do it myself. Also my potential buyer for the car wanted inspection report for the car

It's kind of off topic, but I have a GLC and live in Alberta as well, I'm just wondering what washer fluid you use, especially with winter coming up?

It’s not off topic especially how they charged me almost $6 for it haha, I actually had it filled up to the top less than a week prior taking it for service 😂 I was using the laurentide -45 from costco for years but now using a -45 Rain-x clear view all season from Canadian Tire.

@@POGAuto I took my car in for service last week but I guess they forgot to fill it up or did something because there’s no warning about low washer fluids but there also isn’t anything coming out when I press the button. But it sounds like I can just use the winter Canadian Tire ones I buy for my other car then.
