Thank goodness we are getting Drilbur for the upcoming max Mondays cause I think these Toxtricity raids would be Impossible without excadrill though they are probably going to be ridiculously difficult still unless Niantic balance these raids by making them a lot easier and a lot less time consuming.

The gigantamax difficulty and 35-40 members needed to defeat is so disappointing to a pokemon go player who lives in regions where number of pokemon go players are scarce. Remote raid passes for gigantamax raids would have been a huge help for pokemon go players who are facing this disappointing issue

It'll will activate automatically. If you have purchased the event ticket, it kicks in the minute the event starts. In this case, I believe it's 10a, your local time.

To actually give you a helpful reply - yes, you need to buy the ticket to participate in Japan. You'll not have bonuses or the spawns unless you have a ticket. The week later, everyone can get the bonuses and spawns for free during the global event.

It seems like if you're planning on grinding the event it might be worth it. I think I'm gonna get it mostly for the extra xp and xl candy because I plan on raiding all weekend and the the other stuff is a nice bonus.

It just depends. It you like what the ticket gets you, buy it. If not, skip it. They're still plenty going on without buying the ticket. But for me, I like to get everything I can out of events so, I'll definitely buy it.

Usually the ticket gets you encounters with all of the features legendaries and stuff, and boosted shiny rates while walking. Everything is available for free technically but it will be much easier with the ticket

My guess is yes. Frustration comes with all shadow Pokémon. I can't remember a time when it hasn't. I honestly don't know for sure tho.

We'll likely have to wait and see for sure, BUT the only exceptions to the "1st evolution shinies" you mentioned are certain regional variants that do not feature the entire line (such as Alolan Marowak, Galarian Weezing, and Galarian Mr. Mime), Pokemon with a "baby" pre-evolution (such as Marill, Mr. Mime, and Roselia), or Pokemon capable of Mega Evolution/Gigantamax(?).
