Hey Pohx. I’m a 50 year old first time RF player and PoE novice. Between reading the wiki as I go, following your campaign leveling video and loitering in Kingsmarch, I’m 15 hours in and still only level 50. But despite my glacial progression, it’s probably the most enjoyable league I’ve played out of the 4-5 I’ve tried. The league mechanic is certainly part of that, but your RF resources have taught me more about the game as a whole than any other single source. Now I’m learning PoE instead of just bouncing off it yet again. Just wanted to say thanks!

don't try to keep up with the speedsters, they have so much game knowledge particularly about crafting. once you can get some basic understanding of what your options are on crafting,a lot of pain points go away. by basic understanding i mean knowing that the crafting bench is step 1, using the other leagues and currencies are steps 2-5.

Same here, dad, kids, etc. I've been using the guides but have been pretty unlucky with drops along the way. Struggling a bit now with white maps and no currency. I did just get the unique belt (immortal flesh?) to drop, so that's helped my survivability enough to start tier 5 and 6 maps.

I did see that gold drops are based on item quantity. Basically, it rerolls trash drops into gold. So more packs, larger packs, high item quantity = more gold

I have only played a few seasons, wewnt with Harvest/Essence. I love the new currency exchange. Just dump for Chaos every 10 maps, no hassle with trades. Has been very enjoyable

My fav strat for previous league and for these as well is harbinger+deli, so its MEGA NO CHILL, but its very fun strat on rf bcos all scren explode every secod and your pc died

I make around 8k Gold in a Alch and go map, no investment at all. My RF char is only lvl. 94 with minimal investment and only two Watchstones - enough for masses of T16. My Strategy is simple, the most Basic Atlas Tree with everything in heavy Map sustain and Explicit Modifires. Then all the Maven notes (Destrcutive play and Chissels), Vivid Memories for Synthesised Maps, Remnants of the Past and Qunquered Quonquerers. Sometimes the Bosses are hard but mostly manageable. I use Exarch Altars without spending one point. The maps are done fast and I dont die while mapping. This works out great whith very little Risk and a pretty good outcome in Gold, Special Maps, T17 and Special Chissels. Even with a very low chance I was lucky to drop an Awakened Ele Focus and make good Currency out all of this and a lot of Gold.

I'm curious as to how to craft the helm you are using. Cuz holly shit that's an insane one. I didn't even knew you could get 4 different "Socketed gems are supported by..." in a single helm. That's like having a 8 link.

Just buy a cheap ilvl 82 non influenced archdemon base helmet. Use an influenced exalted orb that’s cheap to give it influence then use harvest to change influence to shaper or elder (I prefer elder). Buy a cheap rare shaper or elder base helmet ilvl82 based on what influence your archdemon crown is. One needs to be shaper and the other needs to be elder. I use harvest to reforge fire until the elder base hits burning damage and conc effect and then I alteration spam the shaper helmet until traps and mines support. Use annul orbs on both bases and hope you keep only the gem mods on both. Use an awakeners orb on the helmet you want to destroy first and click the archdemon crown second. Pray that mods move over and you don’t lose any good mods. Profit??

Hi I have a question, is beyond absolutely necessary? Beyond mobs spawn after clearing the mob groups but either you have to wait for them to spawn or you need to go back to them after you moved from the spawn location. The thing I'm trying to ask is, wouldn't be better without beyond and you just zoom through the map without slowing down?

I just started doing my Harbies, Beyond with Delo Orbs atlas (with the rest being for maps sustain as well) and it is a bit too deadly for me right now. But also my gear sucks a lot. Still, I get between 15k and 18k per map on T16 with Alch and go. But as I said, I die a lot and I must also refine my filter to stop seeing so much junk :)

I wonder how much you can increase your DPS if you use impresence with free flammability It fits quite well into the build, the only problem you'd have to roll a lot of chaos resistance on other gear

Hi, may I ask why you choose to use Trap and Mine Damage on fire trap? It says on FT's description that the DoT effect scales on spell damage as well, so wouldn't Iron Will Support much better? It's a 39% spell damage increase, with an additional spell damage increase scaling on strength, easily getting another 60%+ spell damage increase on top, compared to Trap and Mine Damage's 49% and without the throwing speed penalty as well. Am I missing something?

That 49% probably would be in a different damage bucket so it ends up increasing the damage more than spell damage since you already have more spell damage

I normally clear all T16 mobs without problem. But with the "Unending Nightmare" Atlas Node, those Mobs are getting so hard at the end, unkillable :X. How do you deal with that? Every small mob is like a small map boss lol

Unending nightmare is not allocated per his atlas tree, but with the red altars beware of the map boss, this tree is not for guardian maps :D

Just made it to red maps, health feels like it gets evaporated through so fast by enemy mobs or bosses randomly and not sure if it is gear or map mods. Following the guide to the letter, and I'm struggling to get the amount of currency needed for the build to shine like getting a Cloak of Flame.

yes and no. gold can replace any and All drops. so if the game says you " found " a chaos worth of gold. then thats a pile of gold that could have been a chaos. I beleave there are afew Vids out about this. talkative tri has a vid about gold

no its just converted to golds, its the same usual, just do 6+ mods, atlas with explicit+, things that can increase magic and rare monster packs (scarab/shaper influenced map/t17/abyss atlas), RF has ultimatum strat which you can do to get div IF you really want it, no need for afk build. Anyway there's a reason pohx showing this video to get a gold, simply because of the boat mechanic, you send crops to get your currency and hopefully a div came

to hit requires an abilities to make you hit it with the weapon, chance to ignite is just any burning or fire damage i believe, not 100% sure which one but mine works

This league is trashhhhh , the gold for the boat and runners who came with 2-3 c and some fusings forced to use alcohol and go cause no money or power and 0 drops its the worst, last league i made 1500 div+ in 5 weeks and this league i have 10 div in 2 weeks. Garbage
