Hey Drex! I'm a huge fan of your videos. I got Ultrapoi Vortex Poi as my first real set, starting learning a few weeks ago. I'm hooked! Through your blog, I stumbled across Charlie's 9 Square Theory. Cool stuff! I want to ask - I can't help but to notice when you're spinning, are you shortening the tether length, such that it's closer to his ideal poi length for flowers? And generally, you agree with his point on the length there? My suite of related questions are: Is it just easier and more ideal to do flowers and stalls with "short length poi" (I'm going based on your Poi Length video)? Can you do this all fine with Vortex Poi, but it's just a bit harder? But harder in the sense that, learning with them is just fine and would eventually train me well? Or should I actually be truncating the length during flowers? (I remember you said, a big downside from Vortex poi is the static length). Thanks man!
