How did you obtain prermissiom to fly in that location? Who dis you contact in the harbor for it?

Gerhard Britz if its a no fly zone you need the permission from the entity controlling the airspace. In this case it would be the Durban port authorities. Just like you can not fly within 10km of an airport, a harbor also has a radius around it. I personally have traveled to that beach many times, but i can not fly a drone there because you rpl states you meed to ask permission to fly in that airspace. You have got some amazing footage, but obtained illegally according to the CAA. Yes no one got hurt because you are responsible, but its still illegal. You are one of the reasons the laws are not getting less strict over time, but more strict. Please be informed when you fly, you might just kill someone in a helicopter.

Not to spoil the party but helicopters frequently fly in/out of the harbour to drop off captains to steer the ships in.

Bwahahahaha, I nealy flew into that crane on a previous occasion as the lattice boom is camouflaged against the dark green Bluff back ground. 🤙😉
