Beautiful song. That’s my prayer for my three grown prodigal children is that they have no rest until they rest in Him❤🙏

I have pictures with them when they first started singing. I was at their very first concert. They became friends with our family. They are amazing women and had a HUGE impact on my life. Our families lost touch after we moved. However their music kept me going. When my mothers husband was beating her growing up I turned up their music in my headphones as loud as it could go and hide in my closet. My siblings would hide in my room as well. An their music made us feel safe. Im now 36 and have a family of my own. Their songs still bring me comfort and joy. My kids listen to them in car and at home. Not out of fear but out of joy and to worship the Lord. I'm so greatful they started singing.

Beautiful music and words. So true. I know from my own personal life in past years when I was a prodigal daughter, that there is no peace in our hearts until we rest in Him. Continuing to pray for my three prodigal, middle-aged grown children. Much love to all of you. 🥰🤗🙏✝️🎶

Good soft contemporary-pop ballad with good lyrics about how we are not peacefully satisfied no matter what we have even if we ignore it until we rest in Jesus.

I just shared this to my FB group…along with this song! For such a time! “We are not here by mistake or a cosmic fluke. We are are meant to have a meaningful, deep and flourishing relationship with our Creator, in whose image we are made. When we don’t, we are rudderless like our angry, aching world. We need our King! The world needs our King! “

Lyrics: There comes an honest moment when Each heart looks inside Finding nothing on this earth Truly satisfies And some choose to ignore the ache Some confess it's true God our hearts will have no peace Till we rest in You Rest in You Rest in You Every pleasure, every thrill Never is enough And every trophy, even gold Simply turns to dust And most still search to find real joy Yet they never do Oh God our hearts will have no peace Till we rest in You Rest in You Rest in You Rest in You Rest in You We yearn, we thirst We stumble in the dark Discontent, for You've set Eternity within each heart Some deny their emptiness And some hope for escape Others numb the restlessness And yet it grows each day Wise are those the longing leads Into the holy truth Oh, God our hearts will have no peace Till we rest in You Rest in You Rest ... Jesus, You are all we need And nothing else will do God our hearts will have no peace Till we rest Rest in You ...
