It’s nice to see retirees in Trinidad . Not sitting home doing nothing. But exploring and liming! In North America. Some play golf and other form of entertainment. It’s good to remain active. Ladies play tennis , scrabble and other card games. Looking forward to seeing more adventures!

This is truly an outstanding vlog of my homeland. I love ❤ it. Quaint and pretty surroundings in Moruga area. My maternal grandmother's family is from the Indian Walk areas and our great, great, great grandparents were American slaves from North Carolina who were part of the Merekins group who left America after the 1812 war to settle in T&T in 1815. And my paternal great grandmother was part East Indian and Carib Indian. Shows how diverse Trinbago can be as a beautiful paradise. 😍 🏝 🇹🇹🗽

I want to thank you Trinidadian Retirees for your Videos About my Parants home Country 🇹🇹.., I am Almost Retired in About 5 years more, But I would like to visit Trinidad after I am Retired sometime in the future & Would like very much to Connect with you All when I get There.., I am not defending Columbus, but I Wonder how many Ameri-Indians, were Murderd by Columbus when he Discovered the Island of Trinidad 🇹🇹, & how Much People in Trinidad Still Love and Respects him for it.., Just Asking..! 💃🏾❤🇺🇸🦋🌈✝️👍🏽
@pointboy122 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the compliments about my videos. History does not show Columbus taking actions that caused the death of Amerindians in Trinidad. However the Spanish colonizers who followed Columbus caused the death of many Amerindians because many of the Amerindians had no natural immunity against the diseases of the Europeans. In addition the Spanish including the Catholic priests overworked the Amerindians, treating some of them like slaves. I believe most Trinidadians have become ambivalent about Columbus, they just do not think about him.

Are there expat communities in Trinidad???. Can you show us some of those, including the prices, rent vs purchase, amenities etc...thanks for your vid...♥️🇺🇸
@pointboy122 жыл бұрын
Yes there are communities in Trinidad where expats live. However if you are thinking of communities where there are only expats you will not find those in Trinidad. Your request unfortunately is outside the scope of this channel. There are However several real estate websites that will show you housing in Trinidad and provide rental and purchase costs.

The strange thing is "Amerindians" are NOT Indians. They're actually related to the native Mongolian, Siberian & Inuit people. Referring to these people as "Indians" was a mistake made by Christopher Columbus that was never corrected.

this is called adverse possession it is entirely legal. i enjoyed the video I have family in fifth company have not seen them in so many years I hope i can find the way maybe there are directions
@pointboy122 жыл бұрын
@@curtismoh I believe the original poster was referring to the Spanish occupation of Trinidad after Columbus. Going to La Line or :'Anse Mitan is fairly simple as you simply follow the Moruga Road to Gran Chemin and then is a right turn to go to La Lune or a left turn to L'Anse Mitan.

Why would you play American music for a Trinidad video?
@pointboy122 жыл бұрын
I get this question periodically. When you use Trinidad music the music management companies that work for our Soca Stars, file copyright infringement claims on the video. This has happened with some of my earlier videos. I do not want this to continue happening to my videos and therefore I use music that has been certified as copyright free and also royalty free.
@dexterwilson75912 жыл бұрын
@@pointboy12 Is there a proper protocol to follow to use Trinidad music?
@pointboy122 жыл бұрын
@@dexterwilson7591 I am not certain of the exact protocol. On one occasion I contacted the band and made my request and after several weeks I could not get a definitive response. I believe that you would need to contact the artiste and seek their permission. Most importantly however you need them to contact the Content Management Company who handles their music and ensure that the company is aware of your permission to use, assuming that you are seeing to use their music for free.
@dexterwilson75912 жыл бұрын
@@pointboy12 Well if you didn't follow the proper protocol. They are in their rights to stop you. You make money from these videos? Who can I contact to confirm this?
@peterscotland15072 жыл бұрын
@pointboy12 I enjoy the video. It is great that you are doing this. I hope you keep on doing it. I would say most TT don't know many corners of their twin islands. But it would be nice in the future to somehow source local musical content. I know TT regulations can be a butt pain. I and most people feel things pertaining to TT should have at least 90% TT content. There is some much local musical variety in TT that can be used. I will inquire about local copyright local to be used on videos like these. Stay strong. Continue the good work. Peace. Blessings.
