I would say choosing reeds for oboists and bassoonists is reasonably similar to ballet dancers choosing/preparing pointe shoes

This was such an interesting video. Shevtchenko went into detail about shoe customisation and was remarkably candid about how she deals with pain and abrasion caused by the shoe. Her 75 hours a year certainly pay off because she has exquisite feet on stage.

Hi Kent, I am doing research for a literary project and am trying to discover the name of the ballet term for a turn wherein both feet are on the ground and, specifically, en pointe. So the ballerina is making a full 360-degree turn, either once or repeatedly, with both feet en pointe. Is there such a move? If so, what is its name? I've gone through your "Turns and Jumps in Ballet and Jazz" playlist and numerous other videos on YT but have been unable to find the name of this ballet move. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
