@bryancee51506 жыл бұрын
@Isaiah King I think that is a matter of opinion because the Pointer Sister's can tear it up! I don't really think you can compare them because they have different vocal style's.

I grew up hearing them but didn't get into their music until about a year ago when I was working for Sears and the in store radio played a lot of their hits. "He's So Shy" was always playing on the radio and I didn't even know it was the Pointer Sisters and was loving the song, kept asking coworkers if they knew who it was and nobody knew. I guessed Pointer Sisters and was right, that harmony these women had when together is one of a kind. I cried pretty hard the other day when I found out Bonnie Pointer just passed away and read the words her sister said about how close they were and how they never had a fight in their life and how she was looking forward to seeing her again one day...that is such a special bond to have with anyone.

Incroyable !

Ruth is so funny! She cracks me up in every interview! You know, these ladies as amazing as they are musically, their personality and sense of humor truly sets them apart and I find it baffling that Hollywood never came up with a really fun movie for them to do together. Bette Midler was a singer and a comedic actress at the same time, why couldn't the Pointers have done the same thing? They would have rocked an action comedy flick! Eddie Murphy should have put them in one of the Beverly Hills Cop movies or something. Ruth in particular is so funny, June the sexy one, and Anita the sweetheart~
