Niqaab is obligatory according to the greatest scholars but at the same time it's not obligatory if you read the book of Sheikh Nasìruddin Al Albani رحيم الله . But he highly recommended every women to adhere to it but not to claim it as obligatory. In my opinion, every women should wear the niqaab for their own safety. Even though it's an issue of dispute among the scholars, but it's better to cover yourself fully. May Allah make it easy for us, Ameen.

Sadly there is a trend among hijabis to wear mens loose jeans and mens loose checkerd shirt or something of the likes, this is masculine clothes Allahu mustaan i dont get it

I just finished a clip of Sheikh Suleiman Al ruhayli and this was the very next video. What I've noticed is that the sheikh gives 4 points. 1st, Niqab being mustahab. 2nd the shafi scholars deeming it not obligatory during Hajj. 3rd, not beautifying the face 4th the footsteps of shaytan. This is exactly the pattern brother follows here. Mashallah. Coincidence? I think not. This shows that he brings the sayings of the scholars and doesn't just says what he wills.

niqab is hijab, hijab can be either khimar or niqab.
