Been watching a lot of fan works recently on YT, and this is one of the best! If Mattel didn't succeed in making TTTE great, I guess it's the fandom's duty to create a brilliant alternative for the show

I've also watched most of the fan works too. They all look like fecal matter now.

3:26 there’s a plot hole: Why didn’t the signalman wait till James reversed out of the siding to switch the points back to the mainline? That’s one thing the annual and every adaptation of this always screwed up. I know its said to be “part of the rules”, but that doesn’t make sense as to why it’s in the rule. Furthermore, it would’ve been better if the reason for switching the points back was for another engine passing by James like what they did in Thomas, Percy and the Dragon when Percy had to wait in the siding since Henry had the right of way.

I agree with you, that’s why I didn’t put background engines using that line. Put it’s just a little story. I hope you enjoyed the remake.

As someone who has volunteered on a heritage line, points are changed as soon as an engine clears them because when changing points miles down the line out of sight and likewise with signals, its done sooner then later to keep the track 'ready' for the next engine. More then likely the earlier mishap of the track being set for the branch platform was because the signalman DIDNT Ready the line for James' train. Human error, so its why they're changed as soon as possible so they arent forgotten.

@@bluebellsandqueens why exactly didn’t you put background engines using it?
@mythicbadger98554 жыл бұрын
@@thequietestengine that’s good for you, but in this story, the signalman knew he switched James onto the siding before he switched them to the line going to the platform. This would’ve worked better if either the signalman didn’t know he had at least passed the switch and assumed he had to change the switch so he could go to the platform or do what the signalman in Thomas, Percy and the Dragon did.
