Also only have 299 Dex (not 300), so not getting the damage from Dendrobate - forgot to mention that. Basically trying to make the build look as bad as possible and it still manages to get through this awful map. Build Guide linked in description. What are you league starting?

How viable is this for SSF? Can I just start this as a starter or should I use my SRS first to farm up some gear then make this character?

Last league some people said they really struggled with it on SSF. Dendrobate and Obliteration are T4 (pretty common) uniques, but finding them in SSF is a different story. So yeah, if you get Dendrobate and Obliteration and Cold Iron Point on one character and then play this, you'll have a good time. Or if you're planning to do Heist or something you might be able to find these items fairly early, but it could end up being a struggle.

My recommendation for these uniques in SsF would be to do Heist and Blights aiming for unique rewards chests …. Also suspect the nameless seer could be awesome for T2 - T4 uniques which really switches it up

Dendrobate is fairly easy to come by and cold iron point can be farmed via cards, but when you know how to craft you can easily make +2 dagger with chaos damage and poison chance/damage on top.

I didn't ever test it in Simulacrum but I imagine that with investment it'll do pretty well there. Not sure about wave 30 though but definitely should get pretty deep

Fantastic video and really shows how easily this build can be scaled and is deceptively tanky! Started this last league and got myself my 4 void stones easily with cheap gear!

FYI for those who start poison BV, gem level, poison chance and dots on tree will be what you need to prioritize. Its a little delay in damage and need time to ramp up unlike hit based. Good luck. I recommend poison conc to lv 70 at least before speccing into it for faster progression.

If only BV had a better way to cast it. The crunkyness of unleash really annoys me. Would it be viable as an EK or bladefall (no BB)? I wonder if It would feel smoother for me to use spell echo with some cast speed instead of unleash.

A lot of people do hate it, but you get used to it after a while! But some people never get over the uptime and repeated casting. I'm not sure about EK - I'm sure the build would look incredibly similar but I haven't tested the gem. Also bear in mind that I HEAVILY nerfed myself in this video - underleveled gems, missing gems, crap gear, bad corruption on obliteration, 299 Dex so missing like 90% poison damage from Dendrobate, also in a stupid map with too many modifiers. The build looks and feels a million times better than this in realistic mapping scenarios but I had to share this to show how it performs even in the worst case scenario
