Literally, I felt the exact same way. I was like 6 (maybe 7) when I first saw this movie and the cheesines went right over my head. 😂 I was too focused on Uma the entire time, and from that day on, she became my favorite batman character. Imo, Poison Ivy/Uma Thurman really did make that movie. Every scene of hers was captivating.

Uma Thurman did a good job as Poison Ivy. I remember when I went to see Batman and Robin at the cinema, when she appeared on screen, some members of the audience whistled. It's possible Poison Ivy could come into the DC Cinematic Universe. The other day I tried to think who could play DCU Poison Ivy and only one name came to mind ... Natalie Dormer. I think Natalie Dormer could really pull it off. I think Natalie Dormer would make a good reinvented Poison Ivy like Joquain Phoenix's Joker. Natalie Dormer is a good actress. If Game of Thrones had made in the 1990s or 2000s I think Uma Thurman would had been the perfect Margaery Tyrell.

She was definitely the best... the ONLY good... thing that came out of this movie. Apart from disposing of the extreme campy side, the film should’ve focused more on Poison Ivy as the main villain than on Mr. Freeze (or rather, Arnold Schwarzenegger as Terminator Frozen Over), and on creating a serious contempt between Batman and Robin, making them enemies of each other instead of allies. Not just back-talk, but really mean stuff, like Robin threatening to reveal Batman’s identity to the Gotham City press, which would be a death sentence to his former friend and mentor. The reason why Batman escapes these insane villains is because they don’t know who he is, and therefore he’s unpredictable to them. Two-Face and Riddler came very close to killing him in the last film, because they knew who he was. If every Batman nemesis knew who he was, it wouldn’t be long before someone got him.
