the centipede was in panic from the get go. It was basically prey in a gladiator arena. The snake didn't give a fuck about pesky insects who taste like exoskeleton bones anyway. And just wanted to chill away from them. The scorpion was feeling disturbed by the annoying centipede and the spider probably was scared as fuck from the giant snake.
