I heard Opposite of December is 1999 in my friend Johns parents car, it changed my perception of metal and rock forever. I don’t think more than a few months has ever gone by in the past 20 years where I don’t jam to tracks on this album from my teenage years. Pure nostalgia.

Back in highschool, I tried to never miss a show at the Social in Orlando. Poison the Well is a band that will forever be the soundtrack to very personal parts of my life...such emotion. Lyrically, vocally, musically....this band always exuded raw emotion and the subtle screaming beauty surrounding it.

Drove up from down south to see them play a few years back when they had a reunion tour. That was a good week, PTW 3 times. Orlando, Miami and Ft. Laudy. I have very good memories of the social and its years of good music. I was at UCF back in the mid 2000's and was always there.
