Feels like a lot of You Come Before You was about familial relations... maybe Jeff's internal monologue on this one...? When I was a kid I always associated it with suicidal ideation; 'inherit my shoes', etc.. a lot of talking in past tense about life, starting over. This album was bleak as hell. Loved it.
