@Sentencedgr I'll agree with that. Sentenced was the best but I don't think you're giving Poisonblack enough credit. It's not the original but it's the next best thing. Us lowly fans can only work with what we are given.

Yes, he's name is Ville Laihiala, before the separation of Sentenced in 2005, he created Poisonblack as a parallel project, and after the separation, Ville stayed with Poisonbñavk

Sentenced separated after Miika died. He started Poisonblack afterwards. Originally it was set to be a 1 album project with Ville on guitar and JP from Charon on vocals. When it went further, Ville took over vocal duties,

Ilfariun Ville formed Poisonblack in 2000 or 2001(I don't remembrer well), Sentenced broke up in 2005 and Miika Tenkula died in 2009. Poisonblack released their first album in 2003, the plan was only make that album but after the separation of Sentences, Ville continued his career with Poisonblack, JP Leppaluoto(the singer of the first album) couldn't keep working with PB because he also had his own band called Charon and he couldn' work with the both bands, so Ville started to sing.
