+IndustrialElite thank you. The words and sentiment by this song by Frozen Autumn echo a reality I periodically find myself in life...I think we all do. A moment captures when we suddenly wake up and become hyper alert and aware of being observed (or we are observing ourselves) and really wonder if it is all real. where does our reality begin and end? Within and or Without us. All very existential which sounds too pretentious but it IS hard to put such a feeling into words...Frozen Autumn captures this moment of angst and uberconsciousness so well in these lyrics...

one reason why I love goth, its one of the few scenes where people actually sing. I make this kind of music, just because my voice is naturally deep, well not as deep as Diegos voice, but deep enough. I dunno how these guys in Emo bands can hit the high notes they do, it has to be autotune. Frozen Autumn is an amazing band.

I have many years of experiencies about underground subculture, music and related relationships with people keen on it. The European coldwave genre comes from England at the end of 70s, where all the gothic stuff was born. I know Germans are probably the best in electronic sounds and in fact they're leaders in current dark electronic underground scene too, like darkwave.
