Pokémon B2/W2 - Rival Battle Music (HQ)

Hello everyone!
This is my very first video where the music was directly taken from the game itself.
Update January 17th, 2022:
My main goal for this is to be as creative as possible!
Let me explain:
Firstly my very first channel Mixeli post tons of Gameplays from Every Generation (Which once again was played and recorded by myself in it's entirety which took me years of works.)
My channel has Educational Value because it does provide help to the user who watch the video. An example for that is which musics is played from my gameplays. It could easily be found on video cards (The exclamation mark you see on the video if you decided to add them) and vice versa.
Secondly, My video are transformative enough, I took the time to play the game and recording the musics. I took the time to improve it's original quality using Vegas Pro. Thanks to a program called "Track EQ" that you can find on Vegas Pro.
This program allow the user to enhance it's original quality and further improving it. This need concentration as each version has different audio quality.
And seems like people enjoyed it after all these years!
The fact that now people enjoy these music like me, as a big Pokémon fan I'm very happy to have a good community and that I've got support on you all!

To be honest I actually think Hugh's story makes him the best rival in all of the games. Other rivals would be like "I'm gonna be the best trainer ever and I'm gonna beat you one day!" Hugh actually had a definite purpose, to bring back his sister's pokémon. That made him a lot more understandable and likeable as a character.

If you aim it at the correct people, that's ok. Neo Team Plasma was mostly clogged with unsympathetic terrorists. Unlike Blue, when Hugh's a jerk to the wrong folk the story treats it as a character flaw.

I'm actually really curious. How come people count Hugh as one of the "jerk rivals?"(Blue/Green and Silver). Blue was a playful jerk and Silver was downright spiteful and physically beat you(it was pushing but still). Hugh isn't even a playful jerk, he's just the only trainer in Aspertia, who isn't in the Trainer School, and wanted someone to battle who was on equal footing with him. He had the drive to hate the bad guys, like Silver, and he was only a bit arrogant, but not like the cocky jerk Blue was. He looked out for you and openly teamed up with you rather than being a roadblock(Blue during the Silph Co. heist & Silver during the Radio Tower takeback). He's not exactly what I'd call "a jerk rival."

In my opinion, Hugh is one of the best rivals the Pokémon series has to offer. Not only does he have a solid team, a theme that absolutely SLAPS, but he goes through significant character development in Black 2 and White 2. I see some people categorize him as a "jerkass" rival, where that couldn't be further from the truth. Sure, he's got the look of one, but in reality, he's a nice guy with a justifiable motivation for his journey. He just wants to get his sister's Purrloin back. Additionally, he constantly looks out for you, the player, and encourages you on your own journey. Moreover, you spend a significant amount of time fighting alongside Hugh rather than against him. Sounds like a "friend" rival, right? He's friendly, and brash, but he never stops trying to best you. He hits the spot between "jerkass" and "friendly" rivals. He's never a flat-out douche to you, the player, but he definitely dishes out these out to the reformed Team Plasma before his character development kicks in.

I really wish you fought him more. It's two times in the beginning, the tournament in driftveil, before the elite four, then post game. I think that's it. Hugh was the best rival in every way possible. He had a cooler personality than blue (go ahead and butthurt all you want but you know its true), he had the best design, an awesome backstory, and a decent team.

I remember when I was a kid, I named him "Edgelord" because of his design. I always made fun of him until I came to know his backstory and motivations, including his goal of bringing back his little sister's Purrloin. Even though he's just a kid, he doesn't care, because no matter how strong or dangerous the opponent, for the sake and happiness of her little sister, he's ready to do that. That's a noble goal; that's why I felt guilty and regretted it. That's why, in my next playthrough, I named him "Hero."

To this day, i’m still confused about how some people call Hugh a "jerk" rival. My dude literally complemented you every time you saw each other, when he asks you if you found Team Plasma in Castelia, if you say yes even tho Iris is the one who told you, he says something like:" it’s fine. you don’t don’t to lie to impress me. you know that right?". When you beat him at the entrance to the pokémon league, instead of questioning what he did wrong he strait up says something like this: "I lost... You really are quite the trainer "player". Don’t hold anything back, and win the league! Ig anywon can do it, it you. Good luck.". And right after you beat the game and leave ur house, he comes up to you like: "Awsome, i knew you had what i takes! And one more thing... Thanks for helping me get back Purrlo-i mean Liepard... it means a lot to my sister... Anyway...see you around, "Player"..." Hé acts all tough to Team Plasma but to anyone else, he’s really nice! He even forgave the former grunts for what they did! Hugh is is rival done right!

Really gotta say, Hugh is one of the best rivals, who really cared about the people and Pokemon around him and overall the greater good. He despised Team Plasma, his only personal reason being that they stole his sister's Pokemon and made her really upset, but overall, he just cannot stand Team Plasma's motive, and actually took an active stand against it, he was there with you at the very beginning, and there with you until the very end of your journey. I think it's a really touching detail that post-game, he hangs around in Ex Team Plasma's hideout in Driftveil city, helping to reunite people with their previously stolen Pokemon. Hugh is a rival with a lot of spunk and spirit, but more than anything, he's got a big heart.

Hugh is probably one of the most underrated rivals in all of pokemon. He really fit in the role for a rival, but is overshadowed by the more well known ones, like hau or silver

I like Hugh because his Edgy attitude is kinda fun when you realize it’s like a kid trying to be intimidating by saying “You are about to feel my rage!”. It fits great with Hugh (one of my favorite Rivals tbh)

One of the many resaons I like Hugh is because he is a non-cliché rival. Most other rivals be like aim for the top only to get destroyed in some battles then go whining about how they are not being strong enough. I find Hugh the best one and to be a nice change of things.

They had no reason to give Hugh this banger of a theme but damn does it get me hyped! Also during my first playthrough I named him Bastion cause he gave off that feeling that he should be called Bastion and damn did I nail that name right cause the meaning of the name (Bastion) is a stronghold or fortification that remains intact. He remained strong in order to get back his sister's purrloin. Devastated when it evolved and then picked himself back up again continuing to be strong.

People never talk about how awesome Hugh was; he was the final true competitive and independent rival who truly felt like a rival in the franchise. His backstory was well written and understandable, and was actually interesting with sympathetic motives. Honestly, he may be my favourite Pokemon rival, period. In my opinion, he has the best rival battle theme in all of Pokemon, it's so slept on that it hurts.

It's so ironic how Black and White was the last games to use pixel art work, and anyone can agree to disagree, but Hugh's battle theme rules harder than anyone knows, and I wish we got to hear it more in the game. Every time the beat drops, I can't help but dance to it for around 30 seconds to a minute before actually fighting him, that's how much of a bop this is and it sucks that people put Black and White 2 so far under the radar and only now the game's getting the love it deserved years ago. I'm holding out to hope that we get an event in Pokemon Masters EX for BW2's 10th anniversary next month (or in October when it was released in America) and Hugh's in it. I want to finally see him in the game in all his glory and get to hear this badass theme once more in a remix that'll make me proud to be a diehard Gen 5 fan

So I remember not being able to play this game. And my friend literally told me that I was the rival. Like the way he acts, talks, and even how much he cares for his younger sister. And when I finally got the game I remember going through that game and being like wow my friend wasn't wrong. I think my favorite part about him is his anger. Like he's one to jump into the situation without thinking about it because of his anger for team plasma. Not to mention he has literally my favorite Pokemon battle theme. This game was great and probably the closest thing to a perfect Pokemon game.
