Another thing about this final post-game battle, in addition to the team members of your opponent, is the location. If you recall, the very first battle of the adventure was at Outskirt Stand with Rider Willie, and now the final battle also takes place at Outskirt Stand with Shady Guy _____ (he uses your character's name). Because of that, everything comes full circle at this point, which I find interesting.

Let's put it this way. Escade being the true villain is a completely random choice for a final villain. It's equivalent to saying the first coin block in Mario 1 was actually Bowser and all the other Bowsers were decoys or clones.

NaiblistheCurious1 They did hint at it at least. The first time you meet the mayor, Nascour just walked out of his house, with Escade seeming oblivious of any ill intentions that poured out of Nascour. Then the second time you enter the house, Escade is gone and Miror B and his grunts were just relaxing in there. So either Escade knew something and was kidnapped, or he knew quite a bir and was involved.

Also, Milotic is a specially defensive Pokémon and not a physically defensive one. But now I get it- You know how you can fight Gonzap again in Snagem Hideout? If you failed to snag Skarmory he will have it, but if you snagged Skarmory he has Gyarados. Now do you see? I hope so. I want to teach Reversal to a Rock-type and Super-Train it in HP. Then, Sturdy would activate, keeping it at 1HP, then it would use Reversal to inflict MASSIVE DAMAGE. Giant enemy crab, use this guy to flip it over, and hit its weak spot for massive damage! ......is where I got that from.

I don’t think anyone pointed it out, so I’ll say it here. I’m pretty sure that Fein’s Gyarados is supposed to replace Gonzap’s Skarmory, or at least be an equivalent. Plus, another quick tip that no one ever seems to note: Ferma and Reath, the other two Miror B. goons, are now in his Pyrite Cave hideout. If you go there, you can battle them again too, as they will have taken Mirakle B.'s place.

Yeah, I think Colosseum has memorable characters too. I thought that Chugga would have a crush on Venus b/c he likes gingers. I remember Master of Disguise when it came out in August 2002, but I've never seen it and never asked to go even though it interested me. Say, that IS cool they made a team of the replacement Pokémon. Boy was that a big fallout with it being Camerupt all over again. Ironically, Chugga won this battle, but lost the (war) Shadow Pokémon. Luckily Fein is easily rematched. And that's cool that you can refight Gonzap after all. So if Escade can be refought again, does that mean Nascour can be rematched too? I used Togetic and Togekiss when I played HeartGold a year or so ago. It did me pretty well. I also remember Cynthia's Togekiss being pretty tough in Platinum and beating me narrowly on my first try in the Elite 4.
