He cheated and increased odds. He got his snorlax with only like 10 hours. That’s 4 shiny Pokémon in 10 hours of gameplay. Even considering the re setting this is highly unlikely. It would probably take atleast 18-35 hours to get that far… bummer.

So there are these two videos, I watched and followed these whilst doing it and found it to be very successful for myself. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gqDCmYl_bq6ria8 kzbin.info/www/bejne/h5bZnJ-vhbKqm6c There is a machine 3 above an old man somewhat in the middle of the game corner who says gambling is scary, use this machine because it is assumed to be the machine with the best odds. (Machine odds exist as hinted by another NPC in the room). Also save stating the game to get the 7's if on emulator is also a good way to help yourself win. You won't get it every time as the machine is fixed to get some losses too, but try the machine, then back out of the machine and then try it again over and over. You'll win more than you spend! Hope this helps!

I e been playing Pokémon since Red version, I have found 4 full odds shinies in gen 3 over the course of many many years (Charmander, magickarp, magickarp, and ratatta) shiny hunting in gen 3 is absolutely fking insane
