I'm really thrilled to hear that! I'm always scared when I work on Gen 1 & 2 Pokémon music because in my mind they're forever encapsulated as 8-bit works, and they don't feel the same to me whenever I hear them using other instruments. So I do my absolute best to give myself that feeling of nostalgia when listening back to the remix, in case other people feel the same way about the tracks, but at a certain point I get desensitized to it and I have to make the rest of it "emotionally blind" ^^; Yep... Pokémon GSC are my favourite games in the franchise and I love the music so much! :D The Kanto music in GSC are also my favourite arrangements of those tracks too, so GSC are just across the board my favourite Pokémon games c: Thanks!! ^o^

So back four years ago now, the first song I downloaded happened to be your National Park remix, which ended up becoming my favorite Pokemon music, and felt like it meant a lot through those years. Thank you so much!! :D I'm so glad to hear that ^o^ The way I think of it is that Chiptune is music made using primarily retro video game consoles, while 8-bit is music made to fit the specific constraints and limitations of a particular 8-bit video game system. :o When I'm unsure I call things chiptune, but the chiptune elements in this specific cover are indeed 8-bit, because I followed the limitations of the Gameboy ;D
