@@lastymellows5224 considering that these are in the same game it’s fantastic I mean seriously 2 of the best trainer themes in the series are in the same game both of which I wait till it loops even if it’s the last turn in the battle because they are that good and they are on the second most common battle themes for any Pokémon game making me inspired to fight trainers for more then just the xp is so good having your normal every day battle theme does wonders for any game even if most of the other songs in the game were whatever like the Mario and Luigi super star sagas remakes it had a battle theme so good it can give me reprieve from the horrible puzzles for a while and any game that doesn’t have a realitively common and renewable battle theme like Pokémon sword and sheild fall so flat I mean it has the best gym theme in the series yet because the trainer and wild themes were so horrible that when you run out of gyms the game really does fall flat more then it actually does

Which's entirely ironic, as I love the Sinnoh soundtrack and find it the best ones in the series...but for some reason I find all the battle themes bland and forgettable, with the only exception being Cyrus and Cynthia's themes, which sound amazing. And the Team Galactic and Rival themez afd pretty catchy. It's really only the wild Pokémon, trainer and gym leader battle themes I find meh.

This is probably bias, but this is the most iconic trainer battle theme to me. At some point the battle themes stopped having unsettling/classic RPG battle tenseness and instead started on just being fun, which is fair. But this is a throwback to the older style, and unlike FireRed/LeafGreen, its kitchen-sink vibe with all the disparate elements doesn't sound like too much. Probably because the base composition was less busy than RGB's trainer theme.
