Well holy smokes! You truly made this dragon run a epic run. Especially at the very end there. Dragons aside from the legendary ones are by far my favorite types of fusions. So seeing a run like this. Aside from losing the fallen friends along the way. Especially that poor Dinosaur that you see on google sometimes. Or well the Porygon/Tyrantrum fusion. There is a Johto postgame! The story revolves around just legendaries in general with notable figures from different regions hunting down their respective pokemon. And you fight Gold on Mt Silver as the final battle.

Hey! What version of the game are you running? I'm playing 6.0.2 on hard and my Brock fight doesn't look like yours, he's still a rock type in my game EDIT: leaving it here in case somebody runs into this in the future, you need to have an active save file and start a new game to have the option to select modern mode when starting, it won't be available on your 1st save file (or at least it wasn't for me)

So I usually do these runs on modern mode. So it swaps the leader types, encounters, better level cap curve, etc. and the teams usually do a better job covering their weaknesses and the elite 4 each has a legendary ace. So much harder than classic.

a lot of hardcore nuzlockes have a "dragon rage" clause stating that you can't lose pokemon to dragon rage before the 2nd gym. I think a reverse dragon rage clause would be nice, where you can't use that move until after gym 2. It's a pretty bullshit thing that kind of negates any challenge you brought up about having weaker early pokemon.

That’s totally fair, but on the other side of it with dragons you’re also stuck in your previous form 10-15 levels later than other pokemon. So the early advantage is nice to have. But I also don’t think it’d of had a huge difference with Brock or Misty.

Yeah. When I do monotypes I hack the base forms of each of the pokemon in so I can try and make sure to use fusions we wouldn’t normally get to see.

I always use debug mode to give myself the base form pokemon of whatever my monotype is going to be. Then I only let each pokemon fuse with one partner that way I don’t just immediately have a full team. It isn’t the most difficult way for me to do these runs, but it lets me make some really cool combos we otherwise probably wouldn’t see.
