I’ll never forget the day as a kid when I was fighting Kyogre as Swampert (my partner Raichu fainted on an earlier floor leaving me solo) and during the fight I got down to only 2HP and realizing I wasn’t winning I just used Water Gun as a give up option only for it to crit and do over 200 damage, defeating Kyogre and then it asked to join the team. Best day of my life!

Fun fact: If you lay a Reviver Seed on the ground, let the legendary pick it up, you defeat them both times and recruit them, you will recruit them with their HP at the amount you faced them at. Like Zapdos had 300HP, Rayquaza had 900, etc. Give it a try. :) I found out when I wanted to keep battling the legendaries for fun. It's worth noting I did this in Blue Mystery Dungeon, so I don't know if this extends to Red. DON'T THROW IT!! They might eat it. :/

I remember the wiki said you find hin in stage 36-99 (or something) and I walked as long as the text says these weird things. Next stage, repeat since text comes again. I found him on stage 58 so I equiped that item which boosts recruitment rate and he joined 1st try. I still have that screenshot but I don't remember if it's on my old or new phone. If it's on my old one then it's RIP because I have to unlock my screen to be able to share on PC and the touch died...

The early good days of pokemon mystery dungeon.... I will admit this is my favorite Pokemon Mystery dungeon game. *DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE FRIEND AREAS* *AHEAD ARE SPOILERS. YOU ARE WARNED. -Palkia What I love about each MD games MD Red/Blue are my favorite story wise. And the music there is pretty good. The credits in this game is may favorite credits, one I actually won't skip because of the good music. Makes you feel good after you beat Rayquaza. (Ending reaction: *Cries* ) Explores of sky is a great game by music. Also one of my favorites because of Guildmaster Wigglytuff . He's amusing.. (Ending R: I saved the world, now I'm happy.. Maybe... *Sobs* Dang it... no I'm not.) Gates to infinity is one of the hardest due to boss battles and the final boss is brutal. The music is good. (Ending R: Everyone won't remember me?! ... Is there a point in goodbyes? It's saaaaaaaaad. And apparently the music fits it too) Super mystery dungeon has *BIG PLOT TWISTS*. The story making Nuzleaf evil the whole time(Well I guess not the whole time). And if you saw the ending, your partner leaves instead of you. (Ending R: Heck no! It's suppose to be me...! If your going... then, why? *Later explained* Ohhhhhhhhhh..... Curses...) I reseted my Super mystery dungeon yesterday and happen to be playing this as you read this. Why? To experience the feelings again and maybe do better in my past playthrough.. to undo my mistakes last one. I will wait for the next Mystery dungeon game..! (Lets think about the future game) Z-moves.... What monstrosities... is to think! I bet for the next one, the light's gonna be gone from the whole world and you'll restore it. 4 islands of course, probably more. The final boss will not be Necrozma, it has to be some other force in play during the story like the Bitter cold (Something like that) Can't wait to see the Children in the village, and please combine Wigglytuff's guild and Ampharos's team together, we have to ultimate guild. Don't worry, I'll come back when the new Mystery dungeon comes. And I'll see if I'm right about the future.

tfw the best part of this game was using sceptile and bullet seed+5 to deal -999 damage to water type pokemons alongside one shotting everything(including your own ally pokemon like my blastoise by accident!) other than that.. THOSE 99 FLOOR dungeons and POLITOED with PERISH SONG(the real evil of mystery dungeon as it literally hit regardless of where you were..that's one broken move)

One of those cases on which the Rescue Team games did a better job than the Explorers games: Every single legendary got an important role to fulfill and most of them are a unique boss in a dungeon dedicated to them. Meanwhile in Explorers the majority of the legendaries just roam around on set floors in multiple dungeons.

I learned how to beat Jirachi with any level and any Pokemon. 1. Have a pass scarf equipped 2.Use a virtual console. Otherwise you can't do it. You need the virtual console's save at any time feature. This would make it way easier. 3. Have lots of reviver seeds and gravelerocks 4. Have a diet ribbon. You need this to stop Jirachi from attacking you. Throw it at him and once he cannot move, keep throwing the rocks from a distance until Jirachi faints.

For me it would be so much cooler if there were dungeons with tougher enemies (instead of having enemies up to level 50 and the hard dungeons being all level 1s) and with stronger post game stories (would love to see lvl 70 or 80 in this game...)
