To answer the question, I LOVED the Delta Episode. With R/S/E being my first Pokemon game, you can imagine this game is special to me. Then, after seeing the game with new life breathed into it, with just slight differences to keep nostalgia but make it a new experience all the same, they throw the Delta Episode at you, huge insights to the lore of these games, huge boss battles, a way to catch a previously event specific Pokemon in the post game... Then add the fact that you get probably the best music I've heard in a Pokemon game to date with this track... it's incredible. Also, this remix is AMAZING!

Man, I sure hope she finds the part of her that she lost. I hope she comes back from her journey and while she may not be able to completely forget the past, she won't think the future is hopeless either. I hope I see her again. Because someone like her truly can change the way you think. To have lost so much and yet still carry that fearless expression on her face, even with such a heavy heart, it's incredible. It just shows how much Aster meant to her, even though we don't really know who she is. Zinnia is the real Successor, I'm nothing compared to her. Yet am I the only one who thinks this?

OKAY, so I have a bit to say about this. First of all, overall I have to praise your work here. It's solid for the most part, and has some of your best mastering yet which is something I know you've been working on, so mission success. Now let's get into the nitty-gritty stuff. A few times throughout the song, there is this legato string playing on a minor, that would have been REALLY stellar if it were complimented by one playing the same notes a few octaves up. The staccato strings were on point, so fantastic work there. Another issue I noticed was the layering of your sounds. I think the legato strings sounded a bit too similar to the accordion levelling wise, and I think it might have sounded a bit cleaner if you kept the strings as a bass sound and moved the accordion back up a bit. During the breaks, you had this absolute gorgeous piano that in my opinion was sort of drowned by a harpsichord and a harp (or pizzicato strings maybe?) and here again is an issue I think with the levelling. I was DYING for a piano solo, and it just didn't happen. I think it may have been improved if you went more hardcore with the piano, and then slowly add a staccato string to get the melody, but that may just be me. I was also a bit surprised by the repetition in your arrangement. I think it's just because it lacked a cool down period, but I missed the Courtney spin that I normally notice in your work. There's nothing wrong with that of course, but I just thought I'd point it out. Also, bro, where was the brass? Dunno if I just missed it, but that wouldn't have been out of place, especially with the dark strings you had going. So now that I've put all the stuff I didn't like on the table, let's talk about the positive. Your percussion was stunning. It sounded really realistic to me, so that impressed me straight off the bat. I loved the bassey legato and staccato strings throughout, and the accordion was a good choice of lead, and I felt like it evened out the strings nicely. Piano, as I pointed out earlier was on point. Bells, great; harp, great. I am still particularly taken by the dark vibe in your mix. It just has that killer bassey sound I mentioned earlier, and that's brilliant. Anyway, I'm done shouting my feelings. Love to chat sometime too, as a side note! Hope all is well.

If they do make a Delta Emerald (doubtful) i would hope they would make the game with you playing as Zinnia the protagonist. Still have you go through the game and get the badges, but instead of just admittance to the league, you're seeking for knowledge of the legendary Pokemon while infiltrating aqua/magma to get as close as you can, only to have a meddling trainer intervene. But in this case Zinnia is successful in beating him and gains Rayquaza's trust, allowing her to be the hero she sought out to be

Can't comment on the arrangement as much as the production, since I haven't heard the original theme (no ORAS for me) but I hope I can be of some help anyway. The MASSIVE amount of reverb in this makes everything sound at least somewhat natural, like it was actually played by an orchestra...which is a good thing. But in this remix it appears to have come at a great cost to the overall clarity, especially in your mids and below. Just because there's a lot of reverb in the mix doesn't mean you can't control the clashing of frequencies (use low-cut!)....the mixing is this is pretty awful, to be completely honest. I can barely make out any of the instruments in the mid-lows besides for a timpani and maybe a piano, which both are quite muddy and not powerful as a result. If you're concerned about clarity, I would suggest you spend a little bit more time refining your mixes. Use EQ (and low-cut your reverb!!!) to lower the volume of frequencies that get in the way of other instruments playing in that range. Because what you have here resembles a jumbled mess of instruments trying to play in one range, mostly your mids and mid-lows. I hope this helps.

Rolling this track again a couple days after I heard it first time it's only even better. It even strikes that nerve on the first few notes, the one that sends you back and gives you actually goosebumps. Hearing this first time also had that effect from hearing the theme in-game. I was actually surprised I remembered it and that it left an impact. But hey I loved Zinnia. Such a great character, so I guess it shouldn't be such a surprise. I both hope we see more of her later and also that we don't and that her journey is left a mystery.

Zinnia creeps me out, don't you all agree? She is weirdly ominous, has that weird battle animation where she looks like a cannibal, and then knocks you out using who knows what method. Then she lets a child fly off into space wearing nothing but their clothes and a suit designed for swimming in lava/ deep oceans, not FREAKING SPACE. Why don't we let the child sit on the back of a legendary dragon as they fly into a meteor while they're at it? NO PROBLAMO. But, hey, it was a nice song and I love this remix.

Ahhhh, i remember my Omega Ruby save, it's from 2015, never restarted it. But I'm sad that I beaten the Delta Episode but it's was worth it for my level 100 Rayquaza. I'll always remember this game.
