One of my colleagues has Pancreatic cancer. He was diagnosed just a few weeks ago and they have told him that even with treatment he only has max 18mos. Cancer is such a hard thing to deal with... As someone who has lost several loved ones to cancer, it hurts even if you're not the one suffering from it. I never expected the ending to turn out how it did. A lot of content creators aren't comfortable with being emotional, but I'm glad you got to share that, even if your uncle lost his battle with cancer. I don't have much else to say other than anyone who has had a loved one with cancer or has had cancer themself, you've got this. Life is tough, but you're tougher. Keep rolling with the punches, and do your best to keep yourself happy.

What a rollercoaster. I only just started collecting Pokémon cards with my brother not too long ago, but knowing this run was for a cause that would’ve made your uncle proud was next level. The journey leading up to the climax was nothing I would have expected in terms of Pokemon RNG from nuzlockes. The purpose of the run became more apparent as the risk became more of a game of luck and in the end made it a successful run. You did your uncle proud and you did the Pokémon community a justice by providing another way of enjoying the game. May he rest in peace, but may you keep growing as a creator, but besides the blastoise being restored after 15 years, this opened up another side of the Pokémon community that should show how much this franchise has grown for those who grew up with it. I wish you the best for you, your uncle, and for your future endeavors. I was left in shambles at the end of this video. My dad's best friend who was my only uncle figure was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 5 years ago. I was 11 years old. As an 11 year old, I was at a point in my life where i was still a little young to understand what was happening, but i was starting to understand what it was. I was about 12 when i realized that stagr 4 pancreatic cancer was a fatal disease, and i began to ask more and more when we would visit uncle steve. He was the most joyful and also fierce and stubborn man ever. He fought through cancer and fought it as well as he could. His tumor could never be removed, as it was attached to a main artery to the heart. They never said he would make it 3 months, but he defied odds like no other. He lasted 3 whole years. He took his last gasp of breath on November 9, 2020, a couple weeks after i'd turned 14. He was having a surgery for something. I dont remember what it was but i remember the night my dad got the treacherous call from Uncle Steve's youngest sister that the family was going to say their last goodbyes. He had been on life support because air had punctured out of his lungs when the doctors inflated it for surgery and he contracted pneumonia. Ultimately, he wouldnt have survived, so the doctors decided that they needed to take him off of life support. He died around 3am. As a hormonal 14 year old, i could do nothing but cry for weeks and weeks, and being during covid, i was already going insane. It was the hardest death ive experienced in my life, and ive experienced quite a few more than my fair share as a 16 year old. I wish i could donate some money for pancreatic cancer but im broke and dont have a job yet. Purplecliffe, i give my deepest condolences to your uncle and i hope that someday, these doctors will figure out how to curb this awful disease, and a future person into the medical field, i would like to help research a cure for all cancer. I also give my condolences to anybody else in this world who has inevitably lost somebody to any form of cancer.

This is my fav series. I know it’s expensive so it makes it all the more special when one of these are done. Since this is my fav series, only seems appropriate to leave a message of thanks. I’m sorry for your loss Jack. Even though the video was tough for you, you made it to the end. And even putting the time and effort to make a 40 minute video for your uncle, is just amazing. It reminds me when my uncle had a stroke, and to this day he’s not the same. He needs to use crutches to walk, he can barely talk. Even though it’s hard sometimes it’s always heartwarming to see him. I don’t get to see my uncle a lot, and I want to see him more often so I don’t get the news he’s gone from social media. RIP Gary John Heil.
