Suspicious, yes, but shortening it to "sus" outside of distinct regional slang (which Nintendo wouldn't use in localization) has been within the past few decades, and "sussy" literally has never been uttered by a single living human until like three years ago. "Sissy" has been a thing for awhile though.

When I first saw this, at first I thought this could be potentially real. But then I realized some animation and even some details were too well-done for a Gameboy game in 1998. Also, there were already some emulations of the game in early 2000s.
