I don't think literally Blue was serious when he said he was the most powerful in the world. Out of the game it said so because Kanto was the only region in the first game ever made, so for that time period it was true for the real word but in-universe i think that in the time of Gen 1 and 2 Kanto and Johto don't know the existence of other regions so being the champion there real means being the stronghest of the world as they know it. That of Blue was just trash talking as always.

In my recent run of Red , my Team consists of Dodrio, Raichu, Arcanine, Lapras, Primeape and Nidoking. Im cosidering updating and Split this team between 2 Teams centered around Charizard or Blastoise With a few more pokemon Jolteon, Sandslash, Kabutops, and Fearow. Alakazam, Tauros or Snorlax, Primeape, maybe Venomoth Im thinking of for the 6th member and or 7th. My pokemon red team: Charizard lv53, the starter that i think was lv 52 Vileplume lv42, the mon that deafetad misty, and was only lv 42 cuz it was only used 4 coverage Joltenon lv48, the "overleveled" mon that i used for most of the playtrough Snorlax lv44, it was the tank and surf user (yes snorlax can learn surf in gen 1 you can try to see that im not faking) Muk (or weezing i forgot) lv45, the pokemon i caught just so i can have 5 pokemons (and was a prety high level when i caught so it was very easy to make him keep up whit the team Aerodactyl, lv 30, got from the fossil and only used for fly

That scyther set has to be the worst thing I have ever seen. Slash always crits in scyther, which erases any boost from swords dance. And focus energy boosts crit chance. Which doesn’t matter because the only attacking move already crits. But in gen 1 focus energy is broken and actually lowers crit chance. So is the goal to set up swords dance and then lower crit chance so the swords dance actually works? Literally none of it makes sense
