Butterfree and Venonat seem may have the same eyes, but Butterfree is indisputably a butterfly, and Caterpie is the caterpillar of the eastern tiger swallowtail butterfly. In real life just like in game, the fake eye spots on the caterpillar/caterpie aren't visible anymore in the adult form.

Entirely with Keiz on the issue with Scarlet/Violet Shinies. It is atrocious with some where they are just barely a different color. If it wasn't for the janky hitboxes, I wouldn't have known that the Cryogonal that I accidentally ran into was shiny! How many others have missed? Also, Larry is great... They nailed him. I love his dialogue and him even telling the MC not to let Gheeta work them too hard and to say no to her. I love Iono as well, but she is a little too on the nose with the Steamers references...

A big part of why I love gen 1 and Let's Go is the simplicity. No abilities, no natures, etc. Gen 2 is a bit too long for me. I enjoyed the original Gen 2 games to some extent (in part because there weren't many other pokemon games to play), but HGSS just didn't do it for me. Gen 3 is still my favorite gen, mostly because I played the crap out of it, and because I was actually old enough to understand what was going on lol. Also I noticed that some of my favorite pokemon games were the first ones on their given console. Gen 1 (gb/gbc), Gen 3 (gba), Gen 4 (DS), Let's Go (Switch). I've yet to play gen 5 pt 2 (i.e. b2w2) or later, aside from Let's go, but I do have all the games. Just slowly working my way through them. So far, Gen 5 pt 1 is my least favorite.

I am a huge Pokémon rumble fan. My favorites are of course the original (plus the gen 2&3 fan mod) and rumble world (I’ve tried blast and disliked it, wiiu is ok, never got a chance for the mobile one)
