The more I use meowsquerade the more I love it. I like that while it does stand up, it isn't as over the top furry as the others before it and the signature is definitely something to behold. Also the idea they were going for with the starters as all play a big part of southern Island festivals, masquerades, songs of passion, and endless mystical dancing!

MandJTV and PM7 are the epitome of what these two games are based on 😂 MandJTV plays Pokémon Scarlet, based on the past and tradition, and takes things the more traditional route by not streaming whilst PM7 plays Violet, which is based on the future, and embraces the streaming . You’re actually the first I’ve seen that actually chosen a different starter then feucoco. Well, out of the like seven I watch, which is quite a bit of KZbinrs that play Pokémon to watch around the same time. For me I choose for spigatito because well I just thought it looked nice, and it turned into a persona five character practically .

Oh you know what I can see the P5 influence too now that you mention it. I was thinking more like the Gambling nobodies from Kingdom Hearts so when I get Violet for Christmas, I was gonna name him Luxord. My only gripe with Meowscarada is that there's no reason for it to be dark other than to complete the dark starter trinity (with Greninja and Incineroar), It really should've been psychic or fairy. I do also relate to Mikey being the first one to not choose Fuecoco, albeit I've only seen Kiara and Baelz before him.

I can’t wait to get Pokémon Scarlet for myself! (I’m poor so I have to wait till Christmas TwT). I’m also picking Quaxly, and I plan on nicknaming it Platinum, named after Star Platinum from JoJo! I mean it’s fast, loves dramatic poses, and it looks like a JoJo stand! Edit: there isn’t a shiny sparkle sound in this game, so if you don’t see a shiny you’re most likely gonna miss it. A helpful bit of advice is that if you send your Pokémon out with the Let’s Go feature, they won’t kill shiny Pokémon. Like, at all
