Can I beat a Hardcore Nuzlocke of the Teal Mask using only Shiny Pokémon? THAT IS THE QUESTION!!!

21:20 Actually Toxic Chain doesn’t work like that. What Toxic Chain does is make *every* type of attacking move have a chance to badly poison the opponent. It doesn’t matter if it’s physical or special. If for an example Munkidori hits a Psychic on you, there’s now a 30% chance of being badly poisoned.

I went in with only my level 100 starter, Poochy was still 60. It scales with story progression, not with your party's level.

For those who are wondering about the levels of Trainers and boss Pokemon in the Teal Mask, according to Bulbapedia, they are at low levels before completing the three storylines in the main game. If you already completed the three storylines, the levels will be higher and some Trainers' Pokemon will have held items.

Finally, someone else who gets that Carmine was the one in the wrong, not Kieran. It feels like everyone acts like what Kieran did was so bad, when honestly, there's no indication that he was doing anything malicious. If anything, I believe he just wanted to be the one to return Ogerpon's mask himself, which, while maybe a little selfish, I think is justified considering he feels like an outcast by his sister and who he thought was his new friend. Not to mention the possible trauma he could have from, again, his own sister. She is verbally abusive, telling him to get lost when she doesn't want him around, not to mention how she tries to manipulate and control him through fear. She also straight up lied to him and hid that she and the player saw Ogerpon, despite knowing just how much he likes it. Oh, and also, let's not forget that Carmine is racist to outsiders, not even letting them enter "her" town and trying to drive them away by battling them as soon as they arrive. Now, I could be wrong since I haven't seen too many people talk about these two yet, maybe more people understand that Kieran's not the one in the wrong than I think. But the few people I've seen before now have believed Carmine to be the one in the right and Kieran to be the one in the wrong. So I'm happy to see someone who understands that it's the other way around.

I think both of them are in the wrong, personally. Sure, Carmine's actions towards Kieran are nasty, but... Kieran's reaction to her keeping secrets from him isn't exactly justifiable either. He got very obsessive over Ogerpon, to the point of stealing the Teal mask just to win her favor, and he seems to be going down a very dark, vengeful path when that fails.

salandit yes, but idk about combee. combee is based on, well, bees. bees have a heirarchy with a female-dominated center, so it makes a lot of sense for male combee to not evolve (plus, the queen bee may be replaced with a FEMALE who eats "royal jelly" as a larva instead of the normal food. also male bees are kicked out in winter to preserve food so yeah males suck in the bee world) however i dont know if salamanders (what salandit is probably based on) have this too, or if it was just a unique design choice.
