Slight correction on Zangoose. Zangoose cannot get Guts, but its Hidden Ability is Toxic Boost, which is very similar to Guts, but only grants the 50% Attack boost when Zangoose is Poisoned or Badly Poisoned. That's why it is holding a Toxic Orb. Pokemon with Guts ignore the Attack loss from Burn, so they prefer the Flame Orb, which inflicts less damage over time. I was fascinated by the combination with Switcheroo, though. Unfortunately for your opponent, it seems like Zangoose has no way to touch Ghost-types aside from poisoning them, and that meant Trevenant could walk all over it.

Ah, you're right. I'll edit the description. I forgot about Toxic Boost. Based on what you say, that would mean that Zangoose has no power whatsoever over Gengar and Pecharunt as they can't be Poisoned.

-Looks like your opponent didn't think that Kleavor had Close Combat. So they used Bulk Up after they sent out Scrafty. -Zangoose had Switcheroo, Taunt, and Facade. Its 4th move must've been Close Combat, which meant that it had no answer to your Trevenant. The outcome of the battle would've been different if it knew Gunk Shot, Shadow Claw, X-Scissor, Fire Punch, or Thunder Punch.

Close Combat is a move that isn't the most obvious on Kleavor, though from what I can tell from the Pokémon HOME data, what few people use Kleavor, they tend to have Close Combat. A match like this would likely be a good learning experience for my opponent, and their team was probably going through testing. Knowing that Zangoose has no answer to Ghost-types would be important to realize.

Huh, it seems that you’ve gained better confidence. I think this is getting tougher than I was even seeing.
@OverhazardАй бұрын
Uh, I have been putting up Pokémon battle videos since 2006. This isn’t some new thing I’m doing.

@Wait, what?! Okay, when I have to see what this game was, I think I had about a 0% chance of watching this in the past, and what I should think I never gotten a chance to watch it at all. My only thing to say is that I usually see this when the vision is based on the movements of Pokémon that ranges from the past, the present, and now the future. First off, I watched some of those Pokémon games when this took like many years to finish those things before they can make some game disks. Besides, not only I saw the developers or the programmers choosing to make those games and stay in under-control to make those to make a video game history called Pokémon, but this also acquires some powerful effects, even at the slightest, I knew this is what I saw when I’m younger to see the evolution of Pokémon. This is about the history and see how much they’ve putted effort on some stuff. That’s what I thought when I saw something.

Ash's Scraggy never evolved. It's time on the spotlight during the Black and White saga was actually kinda short unfortunately.
@OverhazardАй бұрын
Ah, I didn't get to watch much of Black and White (and I never found the time to catch up in the anime, even when it was all available on Pokémon TV), so I wasn't sure, just that I saw Ash with a Scraggy.

I can give you that 2nd character of Primarina's nickname, it's 食 (shi) An interesting battle with some unique strategied this time!
@OverhazardАй бұрын
Thank you--I'll edit the description. I always like seeing strategies rarely seen, or even better, ones I've never seen before. And I like anyone who plays a Pokémon game with that way of thinking.

It's funny since you're my main Pokemon battling content I watch, so now I'll always think of your Blunder Policy Primarina as the first strategy when I see a Primarina show up, and then I have to remind myself how unorthodox that one actually is XD
@OverhazardАй бұрын
Yeah, that one is, in fact, a very out of the box strategy, as is anything involving Blunder Policy! There are a number of different strategies for Primarina, but that is definitely not a standard one. (Neither is dual screening, by the way.)
