you can, thats exactly what i did. go to alter of sunne/moon during day if you're moon, night if you're sun, and go through the portal, then go to the lake of moon/sunne and you get cosmog there :)

Alola is not just Ash's second home, it's my home too.. i'd play every regions (except Galar) but only USUM made me feel nostalgic, better than gen 1-3 15 years ago. Now watch this cutscenes again after 6 yrs, i can still feel like crying... Lillie made me emotional, Lusamine made me cry, love the Lillie's escape from the beginning, love how cool Tapu Koko always come in rescue, love the theme of Ten Carat Hill and Aether Foundation, love the new Pokemon that doesnt look weird and ugly yet strong and unique... I can totally feel like i AM the main character inside the game. Live in a peaceful region, summer and trees, sun and sea, neighbours and friends, adventures and mini games, ultra hole and save the world. No gym leader no championship and we create one ourselves and eventually bcame the champion. I miss those days back then travel with Lillie and meeting Tapu Koko. JUST FULL of LOVE in ALOLA

Head to Vast Poni Cannon during the Night to get the Midnight Form of Lycanroc and during the day, you can get its Midday form. Or you can catch a Rockruff on Ten Carat Hill and it'll evolve into either the Midday form Lycanroc if you have Sun or the Midnight form Lycanroc if you have Moon. It's Quite easy.

I'm not gonna lie, but the first time I saw the cutscene where Lunala purified Lusamine, and when Lusamine collapsed onto the ground, later becoming unconscious, I actually thought I straight-up killed her after taking all 5 of her rose-flaired Pokémon down. Personally, I loved how story-rich this game was. I loved the characters and I loved the story. What I found interesting, however, is that this really isn't the player's story, but rather, Lillie's. I also think it was a nice break from villains whose goals were world destruction or some grander scheme. This was just the story of a family broken by tragedy and madness.

Yep! And keep in mind, this isn't the first time that an Pokemon game had an story that's not as generic or irrelevant as the others. The first Black and White did it first. But Sun and Moon's story is easily the best of the series. Hands down.

Ok so what comes next? I doubt Pokémon z is happening just because the whole zygarde thing has been kinda spoiled/revealed already so what's the point of that? Gen 8 isn't happening for a while so that's out. Now next is either Pokémon stars or a sequel to sun and moon or remakes of diamond and pearl. I don't think we need Kanto remakes just because we already have them despite their age. So what do you think is coming next?

Wonder Azure there's been slight hints towards a Diamond / Pearl remake. Alola is based on Hawaii and there are two places there called DIAMOND Head and PEARL Harbour. I'm quite sure they'll get a remake soon.

On the contrary, there is still plenty of mystery surrounding Zygarde. For example, why is it in Alola? There is no reason given for it being there, no explanation as to what its role is. And I don't know about you, but Resolution Cave screamed "future Zygarde event" to me, with its Terminus Cave-like layout with the four orb items, and the Zygarde Cell right in the middle of the pedestal where a legendary would normally be. So I think it's perfectly reasonable to think there could be a future game about Zygarde (Pokemon Earth version maybe?)
