Eternatus came and fucked shit up. The legendary dogs stopped him, and in doing so created the Powerspots, which enable Dyna/Gigantamaxing, which is why every gym bar Spikemuth is built over one. Rose wakes Eternatus to try make more Powerspots, loses control and you summon the dogs to stop him.
