great time to get into it, id say play live a bunch, to build decks using the in game currency, figure out what deck youi love, then build it in person and start going to locals. local players are really friendly, every new set has a pre release turny, very leveled out playing field, youre given a pre made deck and a additional 40 cards to pull/ make a 40 card deck from, youre not capped to 4 copies of cards

Honestly the current TCG game is not geting any updates to keep up with the physical TCG. An entirely new game and streamlined take on the TCG comes out October 30th so this isn't good timing for a channel to get into the old/current TCG online. unless you want to get into it for yourself and only yourself i'd wait and see how you like TCG Pocket on OCT 30th first then decide. Just something to think about, do what you want but there is a reason so many TCG online streamers dropped the game

i guess they are back to updating TCG online again, for awhile they had stopped all updates. just be aware it's very meta heavy and not kind to Free2Players. you have to play alot even if you drop real-life money into it to get good cards. Not for casuals last i played. i paid but could not play enough to keep up. mstch making also sucked. i hope it's better now days

I just started playing a couple weeks ago on and off and it seams ok I can definitely see having to throw money in it I used to play pokemon tcg online and was disappointed when this came out but I did not know it went a while without updates that's kind of scary I hope Pokémon pocket is good cause I can see them pulling back from this game

@@AkaCornelious as long as you enjoy it go for it. I hope pocket will be good but 5 minute games scares me, i hope it's more like 10 minutes which would sound better to me as the normal tcg is 15-20 min games in my experience.

Yeah that is a little alarming I feel like the 5 min is to get people who doplaplay to get into it the way the game is looking it sounds like a pay to play
