I think I’ve cracked the code on why people are looking up Gardevoir: Future Sight. Future Sight is a great move. In Gen8, pokemon like Slowbro and Slowking use it to lock down the opponent in an awkward position. And while this video isn’t littered with a whole heck of a lot of Future Sight Gardevoir, it getting access to one of the most powerful psychic users is bound to get anyone excited. In fact, in Gen8, Gardevoir gets access to this awe-inspiring move through the Technical Records, specifically Technical Record 34. Now, when most people type that into Google, they miss the “T” in “TR”, resulting in most of the searches becoming “Gardevoir R34”, but I can’t imagine another reason people would be typing that into Google.

Gardevoir is my favorite psychic type after mew. I think the reason is because when you catch it in pokemon sapphire you have to switch train it because it only knows growl for a few levels. Just having to do a little extra work to be rewarded with a powerful pokemon really creates a bond. I gues that is why people love gyrados so much

That's sweet. Back in my platinum I had Lopunny, Gardevoir, Togekiss, Luxray. I liked making poffins for them and using them in contests. Would put extra effort into making perfect poffins everyday because i wanted them to be as happy as possible. Lopunny's stab Max return carried me through most the game.

Gard is honestly mid and gets carried by its typing. The only reason that it's mid is because base 80 is way way way too slow for a medium strength mon. Can't break with scarf and can't sweep with specs. Mega Gard tho, that mon is a massive threat. Click that Hyper Voice and watch things drop. The funny thing is, Mega Gard can even get rid of its physical frailty by running wisp as its last. That might be an old ORAS tech, but it could work in the right circumstance if your team is designed to beat heatran.

Timid Kart is an interesting mon. I personally don't like it because why would you give up on that 181 base attack? Today I was facing a Rain team, dude had a Thund T, I chipped it with Uturn and Banded Kart killed it from 90% with Knock Off...... Banded Kart is so ridiculously broken.

It's not really "giving up 181 attack," just you want the speed boost and additional bulk. Late game kart is already really strong after an SD, so having the luxury of a super strong physical attacker that can boost to be unrevengeable sounds a lot better than getting another attack boost (Which is why you need timid and 19 atk ivs, if you go for Jolly your attack stat is still higher).
